i had my last game bugged with disguised armour after the queen rescue side quest. i wonder, how do i avoid this in the next playthrough? my previous playthrough are all ok, except this. did i missed out on something that is supposed to remove my disguised? usually i disrupt an intimate session the guard had with the elve maid. this time round, i skipped that. is that the main cause? guards that usually attack me after my encountered with howes also failed to show up.

I can't answer all of your question, but I will say I didn't interrupt the guard and the maid, and I didn't encounter this bug. As I understand it, the disguise is supposed to disappear when you start fighting. Was it that the disguise appearance stuck? Did you try taking the armor off and putting it back on again?

what was written on the disguise armour is cannot be unequipped and indestructible..therefore, i cant even change armour and my original armour is gone as well....

i once read in the wiki that if you fail to collect back your equipment, you will lose them, but i did collect, and i am still stuck with the armour
