My favorite is
Razor's Edge. It is basically a novelization of Mass Effect 2 that does a brillient job with adapting the plot to a writen form, adding to the interation and dialoge of/between charecters, charecterization of Shepard and a few of the squadmembers (mosty Garrus, and Tali); all while not departing from the events in the game. Everything that is changed is done so due to the shift from a video game to a writen work or were very minor details to begin with. What is added does not clash with or weaken was is already there, but in my opinion renforced what story it told in the game.
What It most well done of this story is the charecterization Shepard is given. It is very cool to see a in depth take on a
possible Shepard and how he could react, whether it falls in line with your cannon Shepard or not.
It is a bit slow early on, but really picks up around the 4th-5th chapter point (out of 34 chapters) and the continues to improve throughout the entire story.
There is also a shorter sequel following the events of the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC called
Razor's Edge: Dark Witness. It deviates much more from the DLC then the previous instalments, but still works out well and is a interesting take on the story.
