Also, i like how in games like Call of Duty, the mowhawk'ish soldier guy is the know-it-all epic hero, yet in ME3, he's the "FNG".....the nerds win

(sorry but muscles and gelled hair and a tattoo don't scream douche for me - guys who are trying too hard to look trendy do)

*I have two cousins who are brothers. One who acts like Silverman and walks around in weird glasses and just comes off as a total douchebag and his brother who I had a lovely conversation with last night who resembles Vega more.

If the writers plan to back up Vega with words, they have a tall task in front of them. He looks like the most cliche Bioware character ever made, like he belongs in COD or something, cammo fatigues and all. I mean, are soldiers in the distant future supposed to resemble some infantry grunt from the 20th century? It's ridiculous, dog tags? gimmie a break.  And in armor he's a spitting image of Jack from Tekken. Isabella is positively divine originality compared to him.

Cammo fatiques: See ME1. Shep, Kaidan and Ash are all wearing camo pants. 
Dog tags: LotSB and Normandy wreckage. Whats wrong with dog tags anyway? 
Armor: We've seen his redesign in armor? I thought we only saw his casual clothes...
Isabela: I loved Isabela. Original or not. And "her bewbs" had nothing to do with it. 

Though I am glad you decided to examine the character design rather then immediately go with "he just looks like one to me!".

The only problem with the camouflage is that it's highlighting the sillyness of everyone else in the mass effect universe ignoring it.  While dog tags have been established in the Alliance military already, what with all that endless searching at the Normany crash site.
