I played the insanity mode once with my sentinel. It had it's charms, but eh... wasn't that fun either.
But if an option is there to freely choose what kind of weapons to bring etc I would do that seeing how I plan a multiple playthroughs.

I think a self-imposed difficulty is fun when the gameplay is satisfying.
Anyway I am now planning a possible third playthrough with only pistol o/ SMG IF the game lets me do that...

Or with just an omniblade with my infiltrator...

Oh the possible possibilities.

You guys can do what you want. On my Vanguard it's going to be shotgun, Revenant, SMG. Revenant + SMG = huge arse volume of fire for daaayyyys. Shotguns are, obviously, the best weapons in the game and only residents of man town need apply. Sissies.
