Some days... I'm frenzied and rushed... Hand me a shotgun and an AR and everything will die. Quite possibly my squadmates as well if I can...
Some days I don't care what the gun is. I'll just use my powers until everythings dead and just shoot things when shooting and laughing is deemed appropriate by my shattered psyche to put fear into my enemies...
Oh and has anybody quoted Jayne from the beginning of Serenity yet?

Also equally funny to say that Vanguard takes skill when all you do is tap a button to get up close, then fire a shotgun at point blank range.
It can't be more obvious that you haven't played vanguard for even a moment on hardcore or insanity. it is incredibly more difficult and more rewarding than any other class I've played.
and this is coming from someone who mains infiltrator.

On topic, Assault Rifle and Sniper? Sure. Assault Rifle and Shotgun? Sure. But no two-shot assault rifle, overpowered SMG, one-shot sniper and over-powered shotgun with a ridiculous range. Silly MW2.

All that effort it took Shepard to kill that one guy, you could have sniped 3 people by then lol.Someone With Mass wrote...

But it wouldn't have been done with as much class or style.Sepewrath wrote...

I need no other weapons, my enemies will all fall to my Claymore.
I call it Vera.

I wanna know what is with that... Mattock, is it? I can't tell, it's moving to fast to get a good look at it...
Anyway! I want to know what it is not collapsed on Shepard's back. Surely AR's won't stay on your back like that.

Be glad it isn't a MAKO.

The fact that any class can wield any weapon just seems silly to me. What would be the point in using anything other than an Assaut Rifle and a Sniper?
Have tried the Assault Rifle, I'm not a big fan of it myself....My Infiltrator will stick to his Sniper's Rifle and Pistol as his primary weapons.

Some of us like shotguns? I have no desire to use sniper rifles on my Vanguard. I'll use a pistol or SMG if I run out of ammo for my shotgun.
I have a feeling that this is a troll thread.
I have soldiers that are exclusively sniper headshot specialists, I have soldiers that are shotgun specialists. Some of the fun of this game is the choices that we can make. Some weapons are better than others for a lot of situations - why else would Shep carry around so many weapons?

in ME2 the mattock could fire as fast as you could pull the trigger. in ME3 there is a limit. in ME2 i could easily manage 5 shots per second (roughly estimated) in ME3 i barely managed 3.

Well ar is the only thing soldiers have going for them now, since heavy armor is gone and anyone can use any type of weapon. They've lost most of their uniqueness.
I think grenades are soldier-only ability.

With a select fire finger, you could easily pull out 10 (but thats with serious actual gun play practice)

seems better to me (the less shots per second thing), make the gun feel more like a semi-auto rifle where every shot counts instead of something that might as well be full auto, kinda what the point of the gun was when they made it

Thank god, now the actual full auto rifles might see the light of day! Honestly the Mattock made the ME2 soldier increadibly boring and its drawback of "low ammo" was not much of a drawback. It was fun for a few minutes, but was not much like its description of a slow accurate rifle.Jog0907 wrote...
