From a lore standpoint, it's understandable that Salarian females haven't been seen. The lack of Turian females is a joke. Given what we know of Turians, their females are equals in their society. It's not believable that we've never seen a Turian female in the ME series. Turian females should be has prevalent as Human females have been.

+1

Plus, I would also like to meet Garrus' mother and sister. And you know....see females that aren't humans or asari (yes I know they're mono-gendered).

Given that we HAVE seen them in comics and novels, I don't think it's a stretch to expect to see them in-game. Also, I always thought the Shadow-broker dossiers were a sort of foreshadowing of things we might get to see in ME3.

Besides, women of any species (besides asari because they don't count) kicking ass during war time is always a bonus. Not all of your players are male and FemShep isn't the only female badass in the galaxy, show some love for the other gender!

When were they guaranteed?

Well, we do visit Palaven and/or Palaven's moon.

Yea, with all due respect, BioWare, that is kinda dumb. We are going to the turian homeworld/moon in orbit and we'll magically not see any females? What, did the males lock them all up or did the Reapers harvest only the females? "I am disappoint" has never been more appropriate. No, I don't know what BW's final decision will be, I'm going off what I know now. :P

I once went to Madagascar to see monkeys. Never saw any monkeys, even though people said that I would see them everywhere.

That's pretty bad analogy.

Since, you know, Turian females are equal among males and this is population of people, not animals we're talking.

I mean, did you ever get to some city and never seen some woman?

You're assuming the place will be intact when we get there.

And even if it is, don't you expect that there would be females among the dead? Wouldn't there be females mixed in with the males that are trying to protect the refugees? I could claim that we ought to see alien children as well but I know that's a harder bridge to cross than simply asking for females.

No.

I expect military personal guarding civilians and do other military stuff after Reapers hit Palaven.

We know Turians will take large role in ME3, but not to see at least female Turian soldier and/or civilian as NPC would be stupid.

I know, good for nothing Madagascarian monkeys :P But seriously TC, this is why you don't hype yourself up for things that you don't know is going to happen. At least you found out now and didn't compound another 6 months of empty hype lol.

It's more like going to NYC and not seeing a single Immigrant.

or going to Israel and not seeing a single Jew.

That kind of all depends on the state of Palaven at the time, doesn't it?

Not at all, turians aren't a "women and children" kind of race, the women all serve in the military too.

^WHAT?!

Turian females and males are equal.
There's much as Turian males and females in galaxy.

Turian females are not minorities like Salarian females which are understandable not to be shown.

Yes, we should have.
Why Bioware never did it? They still didn't drawn a female Turian by themselves.

Well, then those who don't serve in the military I was talking about.

You know? Garrus, Turians in Blue Suns, Turians on Mordin's recruitment, Turians on Citadel that aren't in C-Sec nor Blue Suns and Turians on Illium.

You mean turian rebels that wouldn't be on Palaven? Every turian that is a citizen of the Hierarchy serves 15 years in the military and even many of those outside of turian space still served their time.

It doesn't change the fact that Madagascar is populated by over 100+ different monkey families-- and in terms of the countries ecology and the land's long isolation from neighboring continents -- the chances of seeing a monkey rather than a human would be much more higher there.
