First off my specs is i7, gtx260 and 4gb of ram on a 64 bit windows 7, My problem is i get lag spikes here and there on random times, They mostly accur roughly about the when a certain time limit has passed might be the same time per spike not sure.

but i have tryed several possible solutions one is changing texture settings and what not even disabling most graphics enhancements you can change.

not any of it changes it while one of the solutions gives me a bit less lasting lag it accurs more often and what not most of my tries still has the lag returning here and there and can become annoying,Problem isnt with my graphical settings. i also have alot of DLC's installed most notable is lair of the shadow broker and arrival and weapon packs and free DLC's and companions

Also i never had this problem till about now first walkthrough i did about a year back went smooth all the time 2nd was roughly the same but with very rare lag in some random spots i had some DLC's installed back then, With my specs i should easily be able to max the game out but for some reason this lag comes from something that isnt in textures or graphics,

If you want to know more on what solutions i tried or what i got in my mass effect 2 to maybe find a solution please ask! Posted Image

Lag spikes? How slow, how often, and how long do they last? Full specs per FAQ at top of forum, with special attention to drivers, screen ratio, and game version.

Usually last for about a minute i believe it gets me down maybe those 20 to 10 maybe 5 FPS i'm not a tech expert, if your talking about the FAQ with all the possible problems and solutions i found none talking about random accuring lag that doesnt change with several solutions exhausted, But im sure my specs is not the problem, But yes the lag spikes are usually quite easy to guess for when they happen its usually will happen with maybe 2 minutes passed or so, if you got a part of the FAQ i didnt read please quote it or link me

Sorry brain fart, sticky thread with information to post when asking for help.

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/4795299

So you are saying you get heavy fps drop every two minutes and they last for one minute?

Top of my head without machine specs-- bad driver for me, overheating issue.
Check heat by using speedfan or MSI afterburner.
check drivers by rolling back to around 258. Level and playing with several different to see if fixes it .
