This is really annoying me and i cant find the solution to it.  The character seems to glide alot when in interior areas.  if he is already running no problem, as soon as he stops and starts to move again he glides. The animation seems to sometimes catch up if you glide for a while and then it looks ok again... Untill you stop.

Its tottaly fine in exterior areas, no trouble at all.

I tried Unexpected guests and that module works fine for some reason on its interior area (the guys house). I even tried editing it myself and added a new interior area in that module, yet that interior area had the gliding issue!  I tried cloning all the properties of the house interior to my new area to see if that would work... To no avail.

Help help help.  This is driving me mad!

P.S CE doesnt seem to help with this issue :(

Ok after extensive testing i discovered that this issue seems to be proportional to the vecinity of objects within the room. Bizzarly, the more objects you place inside the room, the BETTER the animation becomes. Wierd right? But anyway if your having this same problem, try putting more objects into your room. It correlates to objects in the vecinity per tile of interior. so i had a 2x2 room, a hall connection, and another a 2x2 set room. I filled the 1 room and left the other empty. The filled room worked fine. when i ran into the empty room the gliding occured the second i walked out of the hall!

Hope this helps anyone having issues with this.

Are you sure you do not have a script running that can interrupt the players action? That's a very easy way to get the gliding, empty interior causes gliding would be a very obvious and easily reproducible bug to the community (can't reproduce in a quick test).

well i started a fresh module and did nothing but make a tottaly empty interior room and got the problem in that also. So i dont think its a scrpit...

But yes i agree if it was a nwn2 toolset wide issue more people would have had this problem..

But anyway what im now doing does tottaly overcome my specific issue.

In my experience issues like this tend to be caused by the recessed floor tiles. If you don't have any recessed tiles than it's probably an issue with the walkmesh. Make sure you bake before testing the area and check the walkmesh for any weird looking pieces.
