Until you realize that all Asari have gained a few cup-sizes since ME1 and 2, and now the armor is, ahem, too loose for your Shepard.

They'd also fight among themselves, trying to get Shepard in their own squad and in the end killing themselves until Shepard is alone. :D

Probably a few who'd like to saddle up to Shepard and 'help' him/her so that, after some time, they can moderate Shepard's destructive tendencies for the good of the galaxy...

And those would get indoctrinated.

Good, just so long as you realize I'll be on the opposite side of the war.

I agree.

I'm sure my Shepard would look great in a asari commando armor

"Round 3: Vote for FemShep Breast Size!" ...and this problem will solve itself.

I don't know. Judging from the Ash fanbase, bigger isn't always better...

Element Zero is Reaper dung. After each great extinction they need to resupply the galaxy for the new races so they could see which one is good for the next harvesting.

The only reason I would destroy thessia is if 90% or more of Asari turn out to be sleeper cell agents for the reapers other then that I'll make efforts to save it.

Just as I support my country over my state, and my planet over my nation, I will support galactic life over my specific race. I'll save who I can, promote cooperation an ensure there is a balance of power.

Be gone Cerberus terrorists and you xenophobic racists!

I'm pretty sure the Reapers will take care of Thessia for you.

Oil is rotten carcasses. Chicken egg is live dinosaur zygote. Mouths need food. Ships need fuel.

Cerberus' new recruitment slogan right there.

On all seriousness, Im pretty sure there will be far better options for humanity to take control after the Reaper was is over. The entire renegade line of choices was designed for this since the series started.

Personnally, as long as they are sentient beings I consider them humans with different bodies.

But I suppose that depends on what you are using to define "being human": DNA or something more spiritual.

OP, I actually support the "Letting Thessia burn" idea, just probably not for the reasons you stated. Doing it for the reasons to secure resources for humanity though is just changing the hands in which the monopoly resides, when Thessia could become a multicultural/multi-specie world and make everyone happy. Except the Batarians. We don't like them.

If I'm forced to sacrifice some of the homeworlds in ME in order to save the whole, Thessia is first. Why? Its not because I have a grudge against them, or that I don't like them. The Asari are the most survivable species in the known ME universe. Sure, it would be a tragic loss of life, there's no denying that, but its not like it means every Asari in existence will be dead. It usually takes a species more than two individuals of the opposite sex in order to sustain a growing population without too much inbreeding. How many do the Asari need? Just one. Give it a few decades/centuries and their blue butts will be shaking at every strip club in the Milky Way once again.

I don't expect the Asari to have the same views of optimism, though. I'd imagine they'd be angry if you made them into the sacrificial lamb....

Thessia is going to be a big battle cause of that Object Rho building there. I hope it is not active like the one in arrival.
If so Shepard will have to destroy it.

You guys do realise that even if we settled on Thessia, and somehow survived, we still wouldn't get biotic abilities.

And I like how you are meddling with "altering the galactic eezo economy" when your biggest problem will be every single council species raging thunder against you... what, you think you could call it an accident? Didn't ME1's ending taught you anything!? ;)

if you want to be practical, weakening the other powers as much as humanity has been is a must if you are laying a char who has the best interest of the species at heart. All the other aliens look out for themselves, if we can take thessia somehow we should

Patience, no one is expecting instant results, we can sit on the eezo for decades or centuries, we don't have to use it now. The others will be too weakened to pose a threat and they wont be eager for another fight after the reapers ravage everything.

It was used as a foil to the OP's idea more than anything else. The thing about idealisms is that they remain as ideas, and rarely does reality reflect them completely. Just look at any arguement for communism as a "good idea". I do think though if any one species swooped in to reclaim Thessia from the Asari (human or otherwise) it would perpetuate a cycle of resentment and violence between them and the rest of the species in the galaxy who saw them as opportunistic.

Ey, this thread is back. Continue the Asari hate, people.
