And ,like I keep saying, unlike humanity the asari would be fine without their homeworld.

Worse case scenerio, overall biotics of asari fall. Their species will still thrive.

This is getting ridculous. Renegades are on another power trip.

How so? It's like didymos said; none of this will ever happen in the game. Bioware aren't going to spend years building the IP just to let players trash it.

If humanity did that, they propably would have to go against other races too and kill them till there is no one else left but humans. But hey, that's how some people like it I guess. How psychopatic.

And this is the reason why paragon has always been the thinking man's path. You can always find a better alternative.

Which is why I doubt it's possible to make the Rachni or any other race extinct.

How could you let the Asari die. They are one of the corner stones of the galaxy. If anything we could deal with no turrians as humanity has quite the military system itself. We aren't expert scientists & we don't live for a thousand years to gain wisdom. We are essentially the Turians. Like the Turians we earned our spot by saving Citadel space from attack especially the council.

Like the Volus, the Elcor are becoming our client race and key to trade.

Its just Thessia, its not like we are killing off the Asari as a race, they did have a few thousand years to set up colonies you know... They have been doing so since before they even discovered the citadel and established the council.

Indeed. It's still fun to troll paragons though with renegade crypto-fascism.

One would hope at some stage in the future humanity can grow beyond our one answer 'cave man' mentality of destruction of another being the only viable answer to all our woes...there are always ways to diplomatically play the system to your advantage without resorting to the 'cave man' grunt of "I want, I destroy...RAWWRR"

We have reapers on the doorsteps of every homeworld in the known galaxy. I'm not sure how diplomacy will save the Asari right now.

How lucky for us that all we need to do is remember the likelihood of us getting a better victory in the end.

I don't think paragon is the thinking man's path, you pick the blue / top option and get the better alternative. There isn't much thinking behind it.

There is more than there is in Renegade. The sollution you pick has more thinking behind it, because you don't consider just one side of the field in it. And I'm sure Shepard has to think a bit harder when he comes up with the sollutions. Sollutions that most of the time have positive outcomes further in the future.

There's no doubt about that; Bioware have proven time and time again that writing a decent anti-hero scenario is beyond their capability. They're really good at the naive idealistic lawful good paladin tripe though.

Can thessia be a virmir choice where we either have to nuke Miranda or Ashley if we kept her? I mean, if Ashley's dead in your playthrough, it wouldnt happen because only making miranda die isnt fair for the mirifans.

Making "speciesist dickweasel" a necessary part of the antihero concept in ME didn't help, I admit.

As this is based on a discussion of someone suggesting we allow all Asari be blown to hell so we can take Thessia over...I am assuming that would be a post war grap.

As for the Reapers....nah, I'm pretty sure their the single exception to the diplomacy route...:P

Doing this would essentially cripple the galactic economy though & any race looking to get rich quick off of Thessias ruins would be hated.

I bet we paragons end up saving more humans than the renegades do since we will be coming back to earth with a bigger army.

Renegade could also do quite well though. You don't have to be a paragade/renagon to not be an **** renegade.
