Any chance some of the import bugs will get fixed anytime soon?

So I just finished Dragon Age 2, I do have the Exiled Prince DLC so I do get to meet Leliana. I was rather pissed when I noticed that their is no mention of our Romance what so ever. All she said was he was to dear to her heart, then went on to mention he is a great king, when hes dead.
Any chance some of the import bugs will get fixed anytime soon?
There is a bug with Awakening and Witch Hunt imported saves. Because of the relationship function changes in Awakening and them being non-existent in Witch Hunt, the flags that triggered what romances were done in Origins do not carry over to DA2. This is a common bug that has yet to be fixed. There is a mod that fixes it (I forget the name but I think there's a link in the DA support somewhere or just google it.)
The only other way around this is if you have the PC version, is to access the module and flip the flags yourself or import a save file directly from Origins.

You'll know as soon as the rest of us do. So just sit back and relax
Dude, I think it's time to just realize it's not ever going to get fixed. Not ever. The game came out a half of a year ago. They've fixed hundreds of problems but import glitches? The problems are with Awakening and Witch Hunt. How's a patch to DA2 going to fix that?
Unless they patch in a checklist to go through when you import: "Did you Die Against the Archdemon?" "Did you have a romance?" "If yes: which of these four were you romantic with?"
Sucks but there it is.

I would be fine with that. If they're really serious about keeping player choice and having it mean something, that's basically the only option to maintain them across games. At his points I have my doubts they're even capable of fixing the issues associated with the importer.

If Rob's quote is authentic, it sounds like this is the sort of solution they have in mind (or it's something they want to have for DA3 and future titles). (You can search for the alleged quote; it wasn't a public response, so I'm not going to post it here.)Foolsfolly wrote...

I don't think it would be something so exciting as your checklist, but I imagine it would allow you to set all the import options (either with an in-game interface or via a separate utility). :-)
It's also mentioned that requiring you to replay past content to get a working save to import isn't something they're interested in, so they don't intend to patch Origins to correct the flag issues.

I hope this does not become a problem with DA3 and importing saves from DA2 DLC that would affect elements in DA2.
This is the mod I referred to that fixes this bug, though I have yet to test it out. If you're using a console, might as well not bother with an Awakening or WH save, because the only thing that's different is if Nathaniel lives or not.
