I've been going through the strategy guide and countless posts on forums, making sure I leave no mission uncompleted. As a result, I could not help but wonder what choices we'd make in ME2 (and might as well throw on ME1) that can influence the third game. We have the Arrival DLC, the collector base, and love interests to name a few.

I want to be sure. We all want to be sure.

Currently off the top of my head are possible/probable choices that will have an impact in any way, shape, or form.

-Helping Aria by persuading the Patriarch to leave, possible assistance in 3rd game (Aria remains in power totally, with the Patriarch out of the way)

-Collector Base decision

-Lair of the Shadow Broker, with Liara as the broker.

-Rachni Queen

-Genophage cure choice

-reprogramming/destroying geth on Legion loyalty mission

-N7 Operative mission, whether to upload the data to cerberus, keep it, or send to Alliance

-Stolen Memories, the grey box, "The Alliance may be implicated"

to name a few

I'm not looking for why certain choices were made, but more of speculation as to whether they will matter or not.

the devs are talking about ME1 choices popping up, now that really gets me going. of course the rachni are an obvious one, but what about the loads of letters you get from people that you helped(well or not depending) in ME1? or 'little' stuff from ME2 like that idiot from the reds, your old gang?

Pretty much every character's loyalty mission has at least one choice that is likely going to carry through to Mass Effect 3. Obviously any major character death is going to carry over, too.

Legion and Mordin's missions both stand out. The way I see it, depending on what you do, you could gain two particularly powerful allies, with the genophage cure helping the krogan as a bargaining chip and reprograming the geth to make nice.

Or they could be of no help.

Legion's could go both ways. Destroying the heretics means they cannot help nor hinder you, but by giving them freedom they can choose to either help you or just continue being heretics. I'm interested to see how it goes.
