For those of us unable to attend Gamescom, the live coverage of the event on BioWare TV was a blast!

Of particular interest were the Q&A sessions on Dragon Age. The senior producer, Fernando Melo, did a masterful job in providing answers to fans. In a similar tone as Mike Laidlaw which had a recent lengthy interaction with forumites, Fernando recognized weaknesses to the game and reiterated the commitment to improve based on player feedback. It was particularly pleasing to see Fernando's diplomatic and thoughtful approach to sensitive issues. Even beyond that, he took time to answer questions on Twitter (Aug 19):

@knightofostagar: @biofeed Will future Dragon Age games have Qunari as playable?”
Fernando Melo: don't know, can't predict that far in the future :)

@CommanderWalter: @biofeed Will we ever be visiting Orlais or Antiva?”
Fernando Melo: Hope so - when is the real question (and that I have no answer for)

@Gorvar: @biofeed
Fernando Melo: no plans for Hawke kids, but you never know :)

@FoxB: @biofeed @dragonage Hey Fernando! Will we ever see a female Qunari? Companion/LI preferred. :D” Fernando Melo: would be cool, no? :)

Kudos to a job well done! :D

Like others, DA2 was somewhat of a disappointment to me; not so much due to changes in story and game mechanics, but because those changes (in my pov) lacked overall cohesion and polishment.

Here's to an epic continuation of the franchise!
