Well if you look at the second video here right at the end http://www.gamestop....roduct_ID=72850 you can see the entire DA:O universe/map.
The countrys are Ferelden, Orlais, Nevarra, The Free Marches, Tevinter Imperium, Antiva, Anderfels, Rivain, and Scheron. Each country has zones/areas like Ferelden has the frostback mountains, denerim, bercelian forest etc... Orlais has The Dales (like the Bannorn) and Val Royeaux (like Denerim).
Almost seems like too much for even 2 years worth of DLC. Will we see DA:O 2? or DA:O:O (Dragon Age: Origins Online LOL.) It looks like Just Orlais, Nevarra, and the Free Marches are bigger than Ferelden itself... Thats some BIG DLC.

I don't think they will be released as DLC's but as whole new games, like they do with The Elder Scrolls franchise: each game takes part in a major region of the game universe.

Thats what I would imagine for most of the bigger ones.
