Hi, my game keeps crashing when I start it up. The screen goes blank during the intro movies, where I assume the bioware logo and stuff shows. And at the login where it says 'Press any key to contine', I see it for 2 seconds, then the screen goes blank again for about 5 seconds, then i see it again and it goes blank. The process repeats about 4-5 times then I get the infamous blue screen, and the sytem restarts. I tried it in compatibitly mode for all options, as well as run in it as administrator.

Specs as follows taken from the ME2 Utility:

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium  Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
DirectX 10.0  (Mar2009) or later

Intel® Core™2 CPU          6400  @ 2.13GHz
RAM: 3.99 GB
NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2   VRAM: 512MB
Driver version is blank.
Speakers (SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC (for 64-bit Windows))
5.10.4991.0
DirectX 10.0  (Mar2009) or later

I have updated versions of the nVidia drivers, 280.26.
Not sure why they dont show up in the utility. Maybe that could be something, but I am very computer illiterate, need some help, desparately.

That's probably the source of the problem.  Nvidia's latest drivers are horrible for their older cards (heck, they're not even good for their current cards recently).  There's no benefit of new drivers on such old cards.  Uninstall your drivers and install either driver version 258.96 or 197.45.  One of those should work.

Just downgraded to version 258, and it works PERFECTLY!! Thank you so much!
