Im not trying to go all fan boy status....but people really seem to hate her for no good reason......unless you have a valid reason in which case I would love to hear

I wouldn't over-analyze it. Recently several references have been made to Miranda's role in the game, but in vague terms. This is just one of those expressions that you hear when somebody wants to answer a question without saying anything. So we will just have to wait and see.

I never said I hated her, I asked why I can't say I don't appreciate her character,I personally don't like the " Uhh,hello I'm from Cerberus ,I'm clearly qualified to do this,now watch me fail." air to her.

I will say I appreciated her turning away from the ice queen act as soon as we got on the Normandy though,much better recieved then Jacobs sudden turn into a generic empty box.

My canon Shep is romance free.

Anway if Miranda turns on him...meh...she's just another target then.

I am a recently ceded non disliker of Miranda....my dislike has turned to neutrality....Miranda is ruthless, her only concern being herself and her sister, it's a rare moment for her to feel for another...I think that is a good and valid reason to dislike the character...though as I said I have become neutral myself...wouldn't extend further than that though.

Every woman who isn't nice and sweet almost all the time, at least to the protagonist, will get unreasonable hate from some people. I like Miranda for not being that, and so do many others. Miranda has a large fanbase, it's just that she's controversial, that when people dislike her, they do it with unparalleled intensity, and few people appear to be indifferent to her. (Having said that, according to various polls Tali is *more* controversial in that she'll get comparably fewer "indifferent" votes).

As for that unfinished business thing, it could be anything. If they said the same for Tali (which I read here for the first time), then it might not mean anything at all. Sadly.

I think it is possible that Miranda will be an antagonist for some time, particularly if she believes Shepard is indoctrinated, but I don't think it is likely, and I'm sure that if it happens, it will not last.

I have many reasons why I don't like Miranda and it isn't just because she is a b!tch when you first meet her though that is part of it. Let's see, she wanted to put a control chip in my brain, that should ****** off anybody that values free will, the way she acted during the Jack confrontation made me want to punch her, and again when she blamed Joker for the collector attack as if he could have done anything to stop it. She also wanted to interrogate Veetor, now I have never let cerberus interrogate Veetor in any of my playthroughs but from what I have heard it does not go well for him.
