I make a ton of mistakes in the video, but it just goes to show you don't need to be perfect to take on the challenge:
VIDEO - Xebenbeck Solo Mage NM - 6 min 14 sec
If I have the patience I'll try to make a cleaner run.
The Battle
First Wave:
Xebenbeck
2 Rage Demons
2 Abominations
Second Wave:
1 Revenant
2 Rage Demons
6 Abominations
The second wave will come as soon as any 3 enemies die. That could be 1 Rage Demon and 2 Aboms, or Xebenbeck and 2 Rage Demons.

Build
The build I used is available once you have 18 points, which is easily attainable by level 15. Vital are Elemental Mastery, Great Haste and Valiant Aura, Rock Armor, Gravitic Ring, and Dispel. Aside from Dispel, all the spells are part of my recommended build in Act 2 for a Solo Mage. It will get harder as you level, so it is recommended you do it early. Since you pick up Voracity during the quest, it's a good idea to go early in the Act anyway.
Gear
Cold-Blooded - Mandatory. The Rage Demons will not go down fast enough without it.
Malcolm's Honor (or Generic Spirit staff) - Very useful to take the Revenant down quickly. I used a generic spirit staff (35 dmg, +14% spirit dmg - bought from Mage Goods) but Malcolm's Honor may be just as good, or better because of the bonus damage to undead.
Generic Electric/Nature staff - Useful but not at all necessary. It will take down Xebbie quicker, but she is not a threat. However it will definitely reduce the frustration as you learn the second phase.
Runes of Spirit Warding - Mandatory. Xeb will rape you if your spirit resistance is not 95%. 2 Runes in Malcolm's Bequest will accomplish that, but if you don't have the Mage Pack, you'll have to make due with something else.
Runes of Fire Warding - Not very useful. I had a couple extra slots so I threw them in, but the only fire damage you would take is from a Rage Demon auto-attack or the DoT he gives you when he burrows under the ground.
Arcane Poison - Very useful. Most likely the best consumable buff in the game.
Restoration Potions - Very useful. Heals for more than health pots and can be doubled up with Lyrium Pots to restore almost all your magic.
Strategy
First Wave - The kill order is both Rage Demons then Xebbie. You should be able to burst one of them down off the bat with Great Haste, Winter's Grasp, a Dispel on Xeb, and Fist of the Maker to reveal it when it goes underground. Once he is down, a Gravitic will buy you enough time to kill the second Rage Demon, using Winter's Grasp and Dispel again. If you're able to take both of them down, then the rest is a matter of whittling down Xebbie's huge HP bar while kiting around the Aboms. Xeb's regular attack will only do 8 or 9 damage, but her special will take away around 25 and can crit (which will knock you down). She telegraphs it badly though with both an animation and a sound, so there is plenty of advance notice to avoid it. If necessary, bide some time when Xeb has a sliver of HP left to get back your cooldowns, including health/restoration pot.
Second Wave - Similar to the first wave, except there are more Aboms and the presence of the Revenant will make it much more nerve racking. You need to burst down the Rage Demons and stay aware of the Revenant's GET OVER HERE move. It can actually benefit you if you out range it, since all other enemies in its range will be dramatically slowed. Use Great Haste and Winter's Grasp to get the first Rage Demon down, and with a combination of kiting, Gravitic, and the dog, you should be able to take down the second. However, don't neglect to damage the Revenant when the Rage Demon is underground. If you have time, drop a couple Firestorms on his head and use your spirit staff, and it's possible he will go down first.
