- Seeing how NPCs have developed over time and meeting some minor Npcs again, maybe even in a more substantial role in some cases. Kirrahe (confirmed at gamescom), Gianna Parasini, Shiala, Emily Wong, Aethyta, Aria and a couple more...
- a heavy pistol only playthrough
- finally seing decisions have real impact and discovering the various paths the story can take

Everything.
I'm excited to dig my teeth in and enjoy the finale. I don't want to rush it but I probably will lol.

Also to see the RPG elitist cry that not everything went their way (oh wait they already are)
Sorry guys RPGs aren't the only good games out there (very few of them in my experience)

The fact that I can actually customize guns is probably going to be enough for me not to complain about the RPG'ness of it. Some squadmate armor would be nice too, but so far I'm looking to be satisfied with it's elements. But maybe I'm just not elitist enough.

Personally, I'm for a Ride of the Rohirrim type moment when my fleet comes for the final battle to save Earth. Other than that, I can't wait for the character interaction, which is one of Bioware's biggest strengths.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jack, and how BW totally didn't butcher her to appease to the critics.

Also Grunt.

Also the rest of the game I guess.

Everything.

If I had to pick, I'd say the ending. I want to see how this story concludes, and how many conclusions are there.

^This, from what I can see from the Kaidan/Ash development, I am most excited to see how all of my companions have grown and changed (or if they have at all) since the end of the that last game.

That and I want to wander around the normandy now that they Alliance has changed it up.

You know that 3 takes place only like five months after 2, right? At least I recall hearing that from somehwere official. Anyways, I don't know how much more development you're gonna get. It's not the two years that made Liara a likable character. I'll say that there are some that really need some more, and I hope they get it, but I dunno.

Anyways, one more thing I'm excited for is to see Wrex play a prominant role again. I could never get behind Grunt, he just didn't stack up to Wrex. Fingers crossed I get to tear things up with him again, but in the least I can bet on him leading the Krogan charge.

I don't know what to look forward to....if I assume from me2 certain content would be available I'd have plenty to say. But from all the developer comments I have no idea what to expect, they clearly aim to make it a shooter. I never played ME for the FPS aspect so....shrug.

Ok, got one thing. The weapon refit system though I hope it can be done in the heat of battle instead of only at checkpoint labs or something along the lines of it.

Did you ever wonder the Japanese in Mass Effect universe already contructed giant fighting robots for the upcoming Reapers invasion?

Seeing the planet through the gaping hole of the SR-1 at the beginning of ME2, when the music got all quiet, watching all the loose debris get sucked out into the vacuum of space... that scene always gives me goosebumps, even though I have 8 Sheps.

Gives me really high hopes for the epicness of the initial Reaper invasion.

I'd say:

- The trial
- The resolution to my FemShep's relationship with Thane
- The story and how it unfolds in general

Finally being able to meet Blasto in the flesh. Or gooey exterior jelly, or whatever it is hanar have.

But generally, seeing the developments and conclusions to personal stories of the characters I love, as well as some of the over-arching plotlines like the geth/quarian conflict, the genophage, Cerberus, and the Reaper origins.

1) resolution. Time to see if it's all worth it Make or break time

2) the music. It's been consistently high quality throughout the series so far.

PLEASE let me air quote the Turian Councilor. "Ah yes. 'Reapers'." And give Shepard the opportunity to verbally rip him a new one. That alone would make the game worth buying.

Other than that. I just want a well put together story line, and overall high quality game that will take about 40 hrs to go through.
