No, it means there wasn't an option to romance him as a DudeShep. That doesn't mean he's straight. Until there's an option to hit on him and he turns you down or until he mentions himself that he doesn't like men it is not a fact that he is straight.

And to correct your Biblical illiteracy, the word 'slave' doesn't have the same meaning as it does when we use it in modern terms. It basically means bondsman, which meant they chose to become slaves to pay off debt or for some other purpose.

I actually have a play through in which my Shepard romanced Tali.  Like I said, quarians share many physical characteristics with humans.  Their females even have breasts, like human women, so they are mammalian apparently.

I'd need to roll a femShep to do a Garrus or Thane romance, but since I don't really ever play as FemShep, I don't see that ever happening.

The Drell may be passable, but if FemShep likes the sight of her own blood, then by all means, get it on with a turian

She could believe in god but not follow an organized religion, or she could just be a "bad christian"

If Bioware wanted him to be available for DudeShep, they would have written it into the game itself.....however they didn't.

You can go on about how there are super secret dialogues embedded into the game and blah blah blah, but the fact remains, they were never used.

And for them to now all of a sudden turn Kaidan into a bisexual would be absolutely terrible in my opinion.  Character integrity must mean something!

Most likely does. not. mean. that's. the. case. Which part of it you don't get? Also, do you know even in modern times, there are Christian denominations that accept homosexuality? You assumption she's part of the church that doesn't accept it is just that, your assumption, not an argument.

Not in Catholicism. There are gay Bishops and priests in the Church of Scotland and the Church of England, but many other Bishops and priests converted to Catholicism to show their disappoval of the decision to include people who are openly homosexual in the clergy.

However I don't think this is the place for a religious discussion. My view regarding the topic is that I think characters that have alluded to their sexual orientation should stick to it. Anything else would be fan service.

Oh oh are we playing "translation shell game" now? That's my favorite!

Do you know: the word Paul uses that is interpreted as "homosexual" by modern religious bigots is not used anywhere else, by anyone else, in any recorded text? And that translation is, at best, a guess? A very modern one, as modern, in fact, as the concept of "homosexual" as a thing someone could be and not a behavior someone could indulge in?
