The Shadow-broker's entire existance is based on the trading of valuable secrets. What's the value in two men in a bedroom who don't have any sexual attraction to one another? I mean, yes you can't assume anything from the short video clip, but it's not hard to imagine that there is a distinct possibility since whatever is happening in that clip is of interest to the Shadow-broker. Whether you personally find that boring or not, the SB certainly found it of interest.

As has been seen in the Liara parentage argument, they can be interpreted in so many ways that bringing them into discussion as 'facts' makes the entire discussion completely pointless. I'm quite sure their intention was to give players something to speculate, not "prove" things one way or the other.

That being said, am I the only one who finds it funny that there would be a species with only one type of sexuality?

Also, what's with the big, colourful and completely pointless pictures?

why are you so opposed to him being gay? It seems fairly obvious. That wasn't a roommate situation. He is sitting on a bed - one bed - and a male approaches him. It also showed the news reporter is a lesbian. My first thought when I was Gavorn was "OMG - gay? Gotta google this!" and not "Hm. Well that's nice that he can talk with his roommate in an intimate setting."

I don't have a problem with Gavorn being gay. I never said I did. I have a problem with ignorance.

It is not fairly obvious that he is gay. Could he? Yes. But there is nothing in that video to suggest that he is, and I've seen more intimate looking moments in an episode of Ren and Stimpy than this.

I'll give you Liara, but Garrus and Tali are still Shepardsexual.  They don't develop a relationship with any other human BUT Shepard.  Shepard is the most important person to Garrus, and Tali develops a crush of someone outside her own species because of all that you quoted above.  If it hadn't been for Shepard, that wouldn't have ever happened.  Garrus has had relations with his own species to be certain.  That is the very definition of Shepardsexual.

How crossing species barriers is fine, but genders barriers are not, will never register with me.

Not to mention that Bioware is a Canadian company, and gays were allowed into the miltary at the time the ME games were being created.

I'm pretty sure Bioware had multiple reasons why they put that vid in there. To assume they wanted people to think that Gavron has a thing for male humans may be one, but it is hardly "100% gay cuz he is being approached by another dude while he sits rather timidly on his bed."

EA publishes the games. They are not directly involved with its development. The studio that develops Mass Effect, and consequently the majority of its developers who are responsible for the actual content creation, are Canadian.

Edit: Besides, wasn't development for ME started before Bioware was even purchased by EA?
