If you play legacy now with him and your sibling in the party, the marriage wil be mentioned..
That's it.

There is no kiss, friend or rivalmance. If you take him and your sibling in the party in Legacy, you get mention of your marriage (which happens I guess though it would have been nice to get SOME kind of scene confirming it). If you have Bethany in the party she flirts with a Rivalmanced Sebastian, and Hawke calls her on it.
Otherwise, sounds like you did everything right, provided you killed Anders, it's on track. He will support your choice (mages or templars) saying the mages there weren't responsible for Anders' actions.

That being said, it's a "chaste" marrage, so I doubt there would be kissing allowed, because kissing leads to naughty things.
That being said being said, I'm still not intirely sure why anyone would want that. Seb's adorable, sure, and he's fun as heck to tease (flirt), but.. he's.. I mean.. its like marrying a catholic priest! *brain bleech*

So even if kissing on the lips is considered a step too far, how about a kiss on the forehead or a hug? The fact is that if Sebastian is too afraid that physical contact with the opposite sex will bring back all those memories of what he used to get up to before he took his vows, then it is a legitimate way of challenging his professed direction. Is he just running away from life because he cannot resist temptation?
And for Hawke the challenge is whether the Sebastian you love is the priest, in which case you agree to the chase marriage, or the prince, in which case you don't and encourage him to go in that direction.
I was happy with the chaste thing - it would just have been nice to show a bit of innocent human affection, if nothing else to show that romance doesn't have to equal getting the kit off or steamy clinches up against the wall.

Of the two, I think I prefer Friendmanced Sebastian. He just seems sweeter, and more affectionate, you even get the proposal. Rivalmanced Sebastian just mentions you being Viscountess while he is Prince and an "alliance" between you.
I only did the rivalmance because I heard a rumor you can kiss him in the Legacy DLC, but if that was possible I never found the trigger for it.
Regardless of the path you take, the last convo treats you as 'friends' only so it was rather disappointing overall.
Hopefully, Bioware isn't just blowing smoke about seeing more of Sebastian's story, and they will develope his character further. I didn't hate him, I just found that there was a lot of unused potential that could have been done with him and was kind of 'meh' about him.

Nah, the Legacy rumor was a dirty lie. You get NOTHING rivalry wise. At least the friendmance Legacy banter is very sweet, even though I don't have a character for it.
For me, it just feels right to rival Sebastian, both for roleplaying my rogue, who wouldn't swear vows to the Chantry, and because it seems like Starkhaven would need him as a ruler much more than the Chantry needs another lay brother playing administrative assistant to Reverend Mothers.
But yeah, any small acknowledgement would have been great. Sigh.

Incidentally I felt that being a Chantry Sister went at least some way to explaining why you would side with the Templars as a mage and, more importantly, why they would bow the knee to you and the city would beg you to be Vicount - that always previously seemed a very strange thing - let you remain free is one thing but become the ruler! However, a mage who had been spiritually married to a chantry brother by Elthina - practically her last act before the big boom, would I imagine carry some weight, particularly as Sebastian could also confirm that towards the end Elthina had been worried about Meredith no longer taking her advice (overheard conversation between Sebastian and Averline).

LMAO!
It figures that the character I want to romance the most is the one who doesn't put out. GAWDAMMIT! Not even a stinking kiss.

LOL. this.
Btw, does anyone know - is is possible to get the 'rival' ending ('i'm going home to become a prince for you') if you have full friendship with sebastian? or do you need to max rivalry? is it full points friend--> chaste marriage and full points rivalry --> prince only, or do you just need full points in one of them (doesn't matter which) and what you tell him at the end of his personal quest determines the ending?

You have to go rivalry, at least 75 percent, and the flirt option in his conversation after the cutscene where he's talking to Aveline will be "a prince needs a princess", as opposed to the friendship flirt "I'm glad you're staying."
I'm honestly not sure what happens if you've already gotten him up to 75 percent friendship and then tell him he ought to be Prince in that conversation. Maybe you'll get the rivalry flirt option anyway?

princess vs. nun? umm....
in a fantasy story, princess all the way.
in real life, dude, if i had to live through the middle ages, i would totally have become a nun, given the choice. only way to learn to read. and guys back then didn't bathe.
