Honestly, I have only vague memories of the trailers from the previous Mass Effect games.

Very interested - especially if there was dialogue.

I'm not sure it's worth the opportunity cost, however -- full cinematic trailers are extremely expensive. I'd be fine with an in-game teaser.

I was hoping they would finally show a FemShep trailer at VGAs. Too bad we got another ManShep trailer. Aren't there already enough trailers and ingame videos showing ManShep? Please Bioware give us some actual FemShep footage.

I was kind of hoping that the VGA trailer would be the FemShep trailer that Bioware promised us ( even though I'm not that big a fan of female Shepard as some people ).

It's nice that the default female Shepard got a redesign and all but so far all we've seen so far is artwork. It would have been nice to see what the new character model looks like using the in game engine, show off what the new engine can do with hair and stuff. It also would have been good to increase more awareness of female Shepard in general. I know I would use female Shepard a lot more if I was happy with how she looked in the game. Bioware doesn't even have decency to release a single screenshot of Female Shepard in game with the new look or show female Shepard in any of thier many 'Pulse' gameplay episodes. How do they expect others to show some more love for FemShep when they won't even show any love for her themselves.

They already said that they wouldn't show FemShep in the trailers. Stop complaining and have more patience, b/c they will show it eventually when the time is right for BioWare.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Just expect it to be closer to launch, when the real marketing kicks into high gear. As of now, we really haven't seen anything new, Sheploo or otherwise (I don't count the VGAs, because I suspect that footage was old).

If BioWare's going to do the trailer, considering this is the last game in the trilogy, I'm pretty sure they're going to try to do it right.

What does him being white have to do with anything? And who said the marketing department was all "dudes?" The topic of this thread is support for a FemShep trailer, not to troll about how bad you think Male Shep is. Adding a ninja smiley doesn't make the hate go away.

Agreed. Even though my Shep looks different, I like Sheploo in the trailers. Having multiple versions of the same exact trailer would just be a waste.

True, the ME2 cinematic trailer was out like a week before launch, so I expect the same on ME3. I hope they do it right too, the ME and ME2 trailers were done right I'm sure ME3 will be up to par. Changing it up and adding a FemShep version would be fitting considering the concessions they have made for FemShep already.

Yes. I don't really care for trailers that much, but it'd be refreshing for Bioware to stop pretending their female protagonists didn't exist.

If "a long time ago" means "when they announced putting her on the collectors edition box", sure. Before that? Not so much. I certainly saw nothing relating to her before then, nor the female equivilants of any of their past protaganists. Marketing for their games just don't present them. They've not been in any trailers, advertisements, or gameplay footage that I've ever seen. When they are, I might reconsider my opinion.

Oh, wait, no. I totally saw that one picture of female Hawke at some point before DA2 came out. Totally enough.
