If "a long time ago" means "when they announced putting her on the collectors edition box", sure. Before that? Not so much. I certainly saw nothing relating to her before then, nor the female equivilants of any of their past protaganists. Marketing for their games just don't present them. They've not been in any trailers, advertisements, or gameplay footage that I've ever seen. When they are, I might reconsider my opinion.Mesina2 wrote...
^I'm pretty sure they stopped doing that long time ago.
Oh, wait, no. I totally saw that one picture of female Hawke at some point before DA2 came out. Totally enough.

Sheploo is their marketing Shepard and that's more than fine by me. No need to waste money on something...irrelevant.

I don't care about cinematic trailers, I only want to know how she looks in the game.

Would you be interested in a full Cinematic FemShep Trailer too?

I was hoping they would finally show a FemShep trailer at VGAs. Too bad we got another ManShep trailer. Aren't there already enough trailers and ingame videos showing ManShep?
This
Please Bioware give us some actual FemShep footage.

I think that a overstatement to be fair. Only a few percentage of individuals desire such a trailer. And you're right, his money isn't being wasted, but I wonder though... Cannot those resource be contributed to the actually game (potentially making it better) than another trailer with the only purpose is to hype? I think the people who take favor in femshep should be more concern with how she actually preforms in game. Trailers don't really mean anything if the core game sucks itself.padawanmage wrote...

Irrelevant to you, perhaps, but important to a lot of us.
And besides, it's not YOUR money being 'wasted', is it?
No, not at all. Trailers are important to get people hype up for the upcoming game, alas that's their only purpose. I remember feeling so excited for DA2 just by watch the "destiny extended" trailer. Same goes for FFversus13 trailer, it's all hype... That's what makes people consider buying the game.Random Nobody wrote...
Marketing and development have separate funds, AFAIK, so no. By that logic we should have no trailers at all, since all of them serve the sole purpose of hype.

To clarify, what I meant is ME3 already has enough trailers to get hyped on. I was just concerned with the actually game since that's what ultimately counts. I hope that helps.Random Nobody wrote...
...That was my point.

What about the "collector's edition unboxing" vid? It was pretty tight. Made a lot of people reconsider their initial pre order.Random Nobody wrote...
Maybe. The only clip we've seen that I've really considered a trailer is Fall of Earth. The rest are rather half-arsed, which I attribute to the fact that the marketing campaign hasn't started yet.
