Recently it has been confirmed that in game for Dragon Age Origins it is possible to duplicate items that you have two or more of, however, should you get an excited idea about maxing out your character by duplicating tomes and using them to do so, be warned. Duplication of tomes causes them to deactivate from the game making them completely useless. When I say this I mean you can't even use the original 3 that are in the game. If you duplicate the tomes, any of them, then as a result none of them will be useable.

Will it do anything to you if you duplicate like... diamonds just for the money?

Edit : 1st of all how do you even duplicate anything?

You have no idea what you're talking about. You can use them fine if you have only one kind of tome in your usable list.....that means that if you have two kinds of tomes then move the ones you aren't using into the junk inventory and bring them back after you're done.

So then its safe for me to duplicate tomes of arcane knowledge on a new save and have an ultra mage?

Yes it's quite fine. You just have to make sure you have no other kind of tome except the one kind you are using in your usable list when you are using them that's it.

Technically if you learned every spell there is at level 7 or something wouldn't that make it impossible to level up ever again because in order to level up you have to use the new points provided



So I think it sounds like a good idea to get to like lvl 20 or upper teen levels before learning ALMOST every spell , and then leave enough left so that you can go up to lvl 25 appropriatley?

As i remember that is ony possible on the console versions.



For Pc i just remembered, that when i installed some item mods, then the tome reappeared at the traders inventory.

but for some reason i cant spend anymore points becauase i have all the spells already. so what do i do?

^^^^That's why you only use tomes of mortal vessel instead of skills/spells tomes to increase your attribute points.....duh. A little common sense might help. You can only learn less than 50 spells so if you want more attributes than that you have to use something else.....IE tomes of mortal vessel which give you one attribute point each.

Quick fix: 
1.Install skill and talent book mod
2.Remove one of the tome, either physical technique (if You're a mage) or arcane (if You're a fighter)
3.Use the one that You've wanted to use
4.Remove all other tomes
5.Go to dlc tab and remove the mod
6.Tadam, You can use the tomes again... and so on... simple as that.

I use this glitch on a console and I guarantee you no mod is required. Simpy move the tomes you aren't using to the junk section.....or hotkey and leave only the one kind of tome you're using in junk....and you should be able to use them fine. If you still can't then simply move all the tomes of a different kind than the one you're using into the storage chest and that sould easily fix the problem.

No useless mods to break your game when you install DLC, a patch or whatever.

Thats a glitch on the console and works with every item.

One other version is when you sell a item(say Blood-Dragon armor) you have to

hit fast the buttons for selling and canceling. This way you can rebuy it for a smaller price, i think.

to get to ur junk inventory just its the tab to the right of the plot items

There does not seem to be a junk tab in the PC version. Everything I've looked up seems to indicate that the Junk tab is console only

Having both PC and console versions I can honestly tell you that the junk tab is in console only.
