Is there a way to get a profile photo other than those that the available 'stock avatars' ? 

I have a cool picture of a knight I'd like to use but don't know how to do so, or even if you can.

Offtopic, but whatever... There is a program ( http://social.biowar...aracter-creator ) that allows you to create DA:O characters (in case you are going to acquire the game someday in the future). Download that. Create a character, then upload him/her. Look for the folder with the export information, then replace the picture with the one you want as your avatar, rightclick the picture and make it read-only. Restart the character generator and upload the character again. Wait for half an hour (until the website gets done updating your profile) and change your avatar.

If you have any more questions, I've written a tutorial on the topic. http://social.biowar...2113/blog/4817/ also, don't get frustrated if this takes more than half an hour. BSN's servers can be unpredictable, and it took 14 hours for one of mine to upload once.
