As far as all choice of races go for DA 3 they would have to make a major change to elves for me to want to start to play them. The short alien look was not the way to go as "pretty elves" should go. I get that the team wanted to move away from whole Tolkien elf, but DA 2 elves was taking it way too far. They way too much the oppressed minority and that card has been played too much!!! The only elves I loved in DA universe are Lanaya, Marathari, Zevran and Fenris (yes even with the anger issues). They have way more deepth and there are pro-active.

And I thought the Deep Roads really looked the way they should in DA 2. The "Lost Glory" was very much that. And REALLY guys you missed a big interesting plot line by not developping the Primeval Thaig. I hope we get to see more in future dlc content. I also want to see Kal Sharok!!As far as plot lines in DA 2 I'm sure it's been sad, but... Yeah good people die, but why couldn't we save the people that mattered. Having Bethany or Carver should have been a choice of saving them, not a class restriction. Saving Seamus should have been an option with him leaving with the Qunari and not being the next viscount. And the possible option of saving Leandra really should have been there!!!!!!
In my mind the two antagonist of Act 3 should have been Merredith and Anders. If Hawke sided with the Templars Anders should have blown up the chantry and been a huge boss fight at the end as a full on abomination he could kill off Merridith if she really needed to die If Hawke sided with the Templars then it played out as Merredith going complete paranoid and having the end fight as we did. As for the lyrium idol. That could have been used as the instrument to power Anders to blow up the chantry if it was needed as a plot item.
Of course this is said looking with hindsight and the game is made, but DA team please take your time for DA 3.
