I am a druid and want to change from the default wolf animal companion to something more interesting like the Badger. There's no function at all the game that I can see to do this so how are people accessing the other animal companions? I was hoping to see a choice during level-ups but there is none.

This topic has probably been done before but the search function is broken. When I try to search it just tells me it's a restricted area and logs me out. I'm frustrated after re-logging in 6 times in a row so I'm not touching the broken search function anymore.

Generally on character creation you get to choose your animal companion. Did you create a new character or start with one of the ones that came with the game?

I made a new druid. There are 'packages' that state each animal but it says if you choose a package then you can no longer create your character and it will all be automatic so I left it on default druid. Now that I'm into the game a fair bit (Fort Lock) is there a way to change the animal?

And another question is how do I polymorph from animal shape back to human? There's no function for it.

 Select a package but then don't click Next, click Customize. You can still see what that package recommends at each stage of the process, but it won't be automatically chosen for you.

Anyway to unpolymorph? Like in Icewind Dale I get a human icon to switch back with. I love being an animal but I want to try different forms.

Right click and hold on your character, then chose the unpolymorph option (whatever it's called).

To un-polymorph - right-click on your PC and a radial menu comes up - the revert button will set you straight

I tried that rightclick idea but there is no radial menu or any reaction. I have the fully patched game with both expansions so was the radial removed by a patch?

Thanks dno. It's the name of a character in a kung-fu comic story. Some other colorful names in the story were PondScum and BeanCurd.
