10. Hold Mass Effect 3 N7 Edition over head in triumph.
11. In concert with 10, play "The End (Reprise)" over iPhone, making sure to match movements with crescendo.
12. Pay for additional items, if applicable.
13. Enjoy rest of party.
14. At 00:45, depart for home and Xbox 360.
15. At 01:30 (adjusting for lack of traffic), arrive at home. Fix plate of cookies and carrots and 2 liter of Barq's root beer.
16. At 01:33, place Mass Effect 3 Disc 1 in Xbox 360 Disc tray.
17. At 01:35, download additional goodies. Estimated time for download: 2 minutes.
18: At 01:37, begin playing Mass Effect 3.

I have a backup plan in place in case such a thing happens.

Nothing will stop me from playing this game on day one. Just short of my girlfriend making me "an offer I can't refuse".

But by god even then, I SHALL FIND A WAY.

Well I'm going to pre-order the collectors edition from Game. Thanks to rewards points it'll only cost £59.99. I don't know whether to let them deliver it or just go pick it up in-store.

How I plan on getting it? Well on the day it comes out I plan on taking the money that I have saved up and head to gamestop. From there on I plan to purchase it with said money. That's how I plan on getting it.

Haha On a serious note I got my CE per ordered all ready. HELLZZ YEAH!!!!!

I have a 3-point plan to fix that. It involves walking up to someone indecisve, beating them with a shovel until they come to their senses, and walking away.

Yes, because it really amazes me how few people know, or bothered to know, that ME and DA are developed by two completaly different teams.

Why does EVERYONE fall back to that defense? I mean really, DA2 was pretty damn good and it's the most contested game BioWare has put out? Does anyone listen to themselves when they say such things?

Anyway, apples to potatoes. Two different design philosophies, and as I recall, different design teams.

Letting one good, though flawed, game that falls firmly under the "Love it or Hate it" category hamper your excitement for another game, almost completely unrelated, from a studio with an all-star record is a ridiculous notion to me. But that's Dragon Age, this is Mass Effect.

Again, apples to potatoes.

Now let's get back to our plans about obtaining ME3.

Are you serious?  I think you'd find natural selection would have rooted out the people who do things that are potentially idiotic on impulse (like buying DA2) rather than evaluating their options and considering the available information first.
