I just purchased Witch Hunt and when I went to install it, I was tolled the download was aborted. It's done this several times and I'd like to fix it.
I'm up to date on my patches, I just instaled 1.04.
Some help would be very much appreciated.

I"m having similar issues, first with the download, and now with the install. It's saying download aborted in my DLC window of the game itself, and when i try to install it via the game it says "install failed due to aborted download. When i try to install through the installer on desktop by clicking on the link in my explorer downloads page it gets almost to the end of install then gives an error about the patch 1.04 failing to install and then says the Witch Hunt install aborted.
I've installed the patch for witch hunt from the BW page and have already installed patch 1.04 successfully so I have no idea what I can do to make it work.
So, i'm no help whatsoever, but I rally at your side Lady Galenda, in disgruntled confused solidarity!!

There is periodic weirdness with the standalone installer when your game is already patched to 1.04. Sometimes a fresh reboot and download fixes the issue. Sometimes it doesn't. Re-starting the in-game download after reboot can also clear up the problem. If that fails, the dazips themselves are up at the Dragon Age Wiki. (googlesearch for dragon age wiki then click on origins and then the DLC link. Individual DLCs are linked at the bottom of the page. It will still require authorization as normal after install). I would post a link, but I'm typing on my phone during my commute.

I just reinstalled my entire game. However, the downloadable content Witch Hunt, will not load. It says it has failed too many times. The game is fully patched to 1.04....however, Witch Hunt has a flaming red 1.04 patch required on it, stating the patch isn't there. It is there.
How do I delete this download, from the ingame downloader? I'd like to start with a fresh download, but the downloader does not seem to allow it. I've closed and reopened the game 5 times, as well as logged in and out of the account. The error re the patch and the DLC WitchHunt remains.
Your wiki suggestion to fix it via an external download had no links to an external download for WitchHunt.
