Does nay one know where the tga files for the loadscreens are located. Specifically I want chapter I II and III.

Better still has anyone done a chapter IV ot V

It is. I use custom loadscreens for my modules. There's a tutorial somewhere on the Vault that I used for the procedure; I'll try to look for it later if you're interested. Basically, you put the custom images in your hak and point to them with a customized loadscreens.2da. I'm not as familiar with NWN2 but I'd suspect the procedure is somewhat similar.

No worries

This is still bugging me I can't find the darned things, they are TGA files and the above link was to the loadscreens if they are there then I'm too daft to find them ...

I tried searching on the file name but to no avail.

I'm being blind I know it but this is B****y annoying.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

The path I gave works for me but I got my game in the original format - not from steam or whatever - where did you get yours from?

PJ - you could search for one of those directories, possibly... the ones showing are TGAs for the OC loadscreens.

Hi Morbane, you're path was good and I got to the loadscreens as you say.

What I am struggleing to find are the TGA's act1_nx1 to act3_nx1 ... I cant see these in amoungst the loadscreens folders.

Thanks for your help Morbane, this should be simple I know but it appear I'm to be a dunce on this. I'm going back to have another look.

I have also beena touch uncler. the oictures I am looking for are not loadscreens. they are used as loadscreens to introduce acts I, II and III in the OC but they are tga's called on a convo node.

Back to hunting.

Yeah they're splash screens as part of cinematics, not actual load screens.

If you have the name of the TGAs - I could try searching - I have indexed the NWN2 folder - you never know , I might get lucky...

act1_nx1, act2_nx1 and act3_nx1 are the names that appear on the menu.

I've looked again but I am seeing this

Dang... My search found the tgas but the darned searcher did not list the folder it is in - it is really late - I will try more tomrrow

OK here it is!!

All three are in there.

I guess it didnt show because it was in a .zip but then I got it to open the containing folder and viola!

I think it is strange that they put the Act Loadscreen TGAs in the textures folder.
