Okay, I think I just killed my entire game...
So I was doing the Redcliff...thing...wherer you to the mages tower, kill everything, etc. etc., and now it seems that I can't get any farther because I didn't do some clicky thing with the Littany (sp?) scroll with the First Enchanter to help with the Lyrium ritual whatever (so many technical words...) Do I have to redo that part, then? 'Cause it's telling me all the mages are dead... so confused. I also tried to get Jowan to help me (I left him in his cell) but he can't, so...now do I have to kill Connor or start over?
Help...? Seem to be stuck in Redcliff...

And did the journal tell you that you're sided with the Templars? Because then you can't help Connor this way. But if you left Jowan alive he should be able to perform the ritual by killing Connor's mother and allowing the same results like if the mages did it. And if this doesn't work there is still "killing Connor" option...
