Those are just the levels at which the OP recorded the stats.

No they scale with you. The stats he posted are what they are at levels 5 and 29, obviously they will be somewhere between the two in the intervening levels.

Btw, I read that the two armour sets for each class look the same, can you confirm this?

They level up each level, those were just two values chosen to give an idea of the stats range. At other levels the stats will be somewhere between the two values given.

As for the pictures sorry I can't help you there and yes the two item sets for each class are identical in appearance

Sadly, yes. I can confirm.

Not enough to make me boycott the pack, but it is very disappointing. I'll end up just recoloring them to make the high-level sets "cooler."

Oh, Bioware, when will you learn? You know anything that could be categorized in any meaning of the word "reuse" will cause thousands of people to blow their gaskets, bleed out of their anus and deposit the resulting poop-blood amalgam right here on the BSN.

Sadly, yeah. I mean, the sets seem to look kinda cool, but seriously - you'd have thought they'd learnt by now.

And caramel pudding? *hopes*

@PresidentCowboy: yes. The stats are better for the high-level sets, but the appearances are identical.

Oh wait, you mean the low-level and high-level sets are the same, not the low-level and high-level sets are different but the same for each class?

Yes, that's right. There's one mage set, one rogue set, and one warrior set.

Wonder if it could be a bug that they look the same. Bioware haven't said much about the pack at all.

BioWare: We listen to a lot of fan feedback, and we promise you that we won't re-use enviroments in future content....instead, we will re-use art assets on equipement. /trollface

Re-used armor skins aside, let's look at some more stupidity in this pack.

The Mountain-Father's Haft (1H Axe) is almost completely identical to The Edge of Night. Same number of rune slots, same base damage, same element.  Extra properties are different, but they are mostly minor stats that don't really add much. And why in the name of Andraste would someone put a +x% physical damage modifier on a spirit based weapon?
So now, we have 2 almost identical spirit axes, and in most games, only one can be used at the time. Great. They couldn't make it cold/nature/electricity/fire based, so we could have 2 different evolving elemental axes?

Longbow of the Avvars is another piece of stupidity in this pack. First, they make Hood's Message to the King, wich made the only elemental bow in the game completely obsolete, and now they release another physical based bow. As if there wasn't enough of those in the game. Every single bow except for one is a physical based bow, so offcourse it makes sense to add another, right? God forbid, they would add an elemental bow to the pack, since there are only like 2 of them in the game, and they both have the same element.

/rant off

I don't mean to sound like a ******, but the stupid arbitrary choices on these two weapons make me somewhat mad. I wonder, if the base damage types are mixed up on those two? Spirit bow would have been awesome, and a very welcome addition to a very poor arsenal for archers, and that +x% physical damage modfier on the axe would have made sense, if the axe had physical base damage?

I don't have any major complaints over the other items. The other weapons are nice (especially the spirit dagger/axe), companion accessories are awesome and armors (minus the reused art assets) are decent. Overall, this could have been an awsome pack, but those two weapons and re-used armors really screwed it up.

Now that the PC version is out, anyone care to post some clearer screenies of the armor? Notably the mage and rogue ones.

30 is definitely not possible. This is the result of some bug or glitch.

Rant about questionable decisions.

You think the Haft of the Mountain Father is bad? The companion equipment is worse. Each item is pretty much an exact duplicate of what they got in the first item pack, except that Anders's gear is still not what I was looking for and Fenris's gear is way overpowered compared to everyone else's. Just like their first sets.

Here's a thought for the nexts item pack: do something different. Yeah, Fenris can use +X to all his stats and a hefty +150 to attack. But he gets that with his amulet. How about giving his willpower and defense a boost? And yes, Anders does like to go through mana, but by the end of the game, +20 mana is NOTHING, and I laugh at the +3 regen rate. Again, he could use a defense boost, and instead of just upping his mana ad nauseum, how about increasing his fortitude a bit? The guy gets knocked flat by stray breezes.

Edit: Sweet Andraste, whose idea was it to duct tape stone animals to that mage staff? At least I hope they're stone animals. Please, don't let that be Ser Pounce-a-lot's final resting place.
