Thanks so much for posting these classyUnicorn.

Warriors get gypped this item pack. They get nothing better than what is currently in game.

Rogues get a shiny new spirit dagger, and the Armor is now best in slot. No more Robes of Unblemished Cleanliness. The bow is now the best physical damage bow in the game, but still no comparison to Hood's Message to the King.

Mages get a great Fire staff about on par with Malcolm's Honor, but no rune slots so there is still no answer to the best Staff. The armor doesn't beat the Robes of Unblemished Cleanliness. The total lack of damage stats on other pieces persists, save for the +1 to stats on the boots.

Overall I'd say this pack is pretty weak. Rogues get 2 best-in-slot items, but that's about it. No other element options for Rogues or Warriors, no DPS stats on mage gear.

Edit: Sweet Andraste, whose idea was it to duct tape stone animals to that mage staff? At least I hope they're stone animals. Please, don't let that be Ser Pounce-a-lot's final resting place.

I thought they were like mummified or preserved. At least it's not a freaking beach ball, like the Key.

I want so much for them to be nugs, but I'm pretty sure the art department just made them pigs. Damn you, art department!

The new item pack feels like the two dlc were one big one, split in two. The new items seem like more of the game; nothing that really stands out. However, the extra companion accessories are a nice addition.

I was hoping that rogues would get a new set of daggers to replace the meat cleaver set from the first pack. Instead, rogues get a pair of dual-axes. Perhaps the third item pack will give them piercing weapons to go with the whole backSTAB idea?

They are dogs. All the stuff is Fereldan-themed. They're carved from stone, because Fereldans are barbarian dog-lords.

They do look a lot like the nugs Flemmeth had hanging in her hut, though. The dogs carvings used to be different, with the dogs usually sitting, bit like ancient egyptian statues.

But granted, it does make more sense for them to be dogs than the nugs.

Although imagine Leliana's reaction to the latter...

Any idea where to read the codex entries? Call me a sap, though I want to read more about Loghain's armor before considering buying it. :P

I hope they allow us to change/multi class in the future, given the fact that they are writing all of these people who have changed classes into the game via dlc armor.

I was wondering if Bioware was calling my Hawke a cow or something.  She takes great offense to that!

The "nug staff" looks heavy and impractical like Hawke's Key staff in Legacy. I prefer the Parthalan type staffs.

I so wish they were at the bottom so when an enemy gets too close you can start beating on them with the nug end.

*slam* "The Maker says 'Oink, oink!', fiend!"
*whack* "Give my regards to Pork and Chop!"

My first thought also.

Well, I sorta-kinda like the warrior sets appearance, though something's still bothering me about it but I can't say what.

Not gonna wear the armor made from a pony, hehe.

So it's about what we'd expect of anything DA2 related at this point.

I think BW's also confirmed with that mage staff that they hate everyones puppies. A lot.
