For some reason this month, it's been getting harder to connect to Cerberus Netwrok or DA2 Network. Despite the fact that I'm connected online, it seems to not connect anymore. Is there an issue going on between Bioware's network and LIVE in Canada?

When I try to connect, I keep getting the same message "Dragon Age servers are temporarily unavailable. Please try again." And it's been like that for a while.

Have you tried clearing the cache of the system?
How about putting the information in again to log in?

yeah... clearing my XBOX cache does nothing. It is still not connecting for the second day in a row... i'd like to take a guess and posit that the server is totally crammed and cannot handle the volume? Any technical info / support / help is appreciated...

I would recommend changing your password on the site and then try to login. You may get an incorrect password error, but then you can update the password with your new one. In some cases, this has actually resolved the connection error.
Please post back if you need further assistance.

Hello EA_AgentX, I have this problem. I tried the steps you mentioned, but unfortunately has not worked for me.
I'm in the UK and on the Xbox 360. I have also tried a system cache clear and re-downloaded the Dragon Age II title updates and that has not fixed the error.
Is there be any other advice you can give please?
Thank you.

LeeVEGETA - Do you have a Star Wars The Old Republic account? If so, try using that login information and post back your results please.

I didn't have an account there, but just put my ea id in and it logged me in to the Star Wars site. But its the same user info across all EA sites
I'm not sure if logging into the Star Wars site, of leaving Dragon Age alone for a few hours, but I seem to be able to log in to the servers now.
Cheers for the info, I'll use this info if it fails to connect again.
Thanks for the help!

I changed my password. It's still the same. No network connection in the morning. Then maybe a connection afternoon. Despite being connected to LIVE, and still having internet.

I haven't signed on to the DA servers in months. I used to do it every time I played DA, but after the 1.02 patch, it got really glitchy for me, and I got disconnected a lot. So now, I don't even bother. I probably should do it sometime, though. I'm up to 10 Hawkes, and I should update my BSN profile with them.
I hope it starts working for you, TMA.

I've just tried clearing the cache. Still no dice. I can't connect right now.

I recently installed DLC including 'The Exiled Prince," as well as "Legacy" for DA2 and I am having the same issues. I tried changing my password and deleting DLC content and reinstalling them with no luck. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm having the same issues myself and it started sometime in the afternoon as I had been playing up until around 2:30 CDT before having to go out for a bit.
Since I got back it hasnt been able to connect and from what I see, clearing the cache is clearly not a working option.
Also any attempt I do make, shows that the servers are temporarily unavailable.

Yeah, I am having the same issues for the pass couple days, first time I was able to just turn the 360 off and on and it connected, second day I did the clear cache and it connected, but today nothing is working to get it to connect. Though everything with live is working fine. Also when I put in Origins just to see if it would connect, it didn't and the menu didn't even come up like "new game, load game, etc" Since others seem to be having this issue, it must be on EA's side. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Edit: As a test I tried to play on a xbox profile I made along time ago, that hasn't had any EA or Bioware games played on it, so there is no save files on it nether does it have EA account linked to it. And when I put in DA2, it still said it failed to connect to EA servers.

For Dragon Age 2, it is not locking up for me, but just keeps saying DA servers are temporarily unavailable.
As a test, I put in Mass Effect 2, and it seemed to connect fine to the cerberus network. So, looks like the problem is just with DAs servers, since for me it was not connecting for Origins ether.

I am now having the same issue and have tried all of the suggestions from above, clearing the cache, changing my account password. It still just says DA servers are temporarily unavailable.

My connection has been severed as well on my 360. Happened shortly after I downloaded Legacy and Item Pack 2.

Another odd thing. Since I've been playing this game from March, only my two least used characters have shown up in my game profile. A lvl 14 char and lvl 2 char- yet all my achievements are shown.

I find this amusing yet odd that you guys can't seem to connect to the DA servers though the game. I seem to able to just fine. Well just fine unless my computer is uploading videos to Youtube or we're having a bad storm. :/

FYI best buy takes the game back if the servers don't work. just returned my copy. After raising a bit of a stink i even got a replacement 1600 msp card to replace the one i used to buy DLC for the game.

I wasn't having any problems contacting the servers until I downloaded the PC version of Origins on Amazon. I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not, but it's weird that all of the sudden I keep getting the message that the servers are temporarily unavailable.
