A project WIP here: http://social.bioware.com/project/270/

This is an ambitious project to create a new campaign which takes place in a world which differs in several aspects from the Dragon Age world, but contains much of the general fantasy content people have come to expect in fantasy RPG's. My goal is to make a world with intensely ambiguous moral dilemmas and other problems which have various 'gray area' solutions similar to the ones you have seen in the main campaign. Another goal is to avoid the Disney-esque good versus evil situations with nefarious villains being bastards 'just because'.

I intend to include four companions (who, with GUI editing, will all be able to accompany you in your undertakings), each of which with their own backstories and personal quandaries. To replace the favor system, you will instead be able to influence your companion's decisions and actions during the game via dialogue and game events. For example, you could sway a companion toward seeking revenge by building their thirst for vengeance, or you could dissuade them from that treacherous path.

The plot for the game is almost completely composed, and I've already started the arduous task of creating levels. Progress will be gained more swiftly when Bioware releases their level packs so that I can alter their current levels and shift the terrain for my purpose.

I'm not currently actively recruiting for this project, though I will likely require the assistance of skilled scripting toward the end, but I will accept assistance and additions to the team if anyone is interested in partnering with me.

I will likely be releasing the project in a series of three chapters.

Sounds good. I was kind of depressed, I was hoping for a lot more moral/ethical dilemmas and choices in DA:O then what was given.
