When bioware showed Hawke riding a dragon  bye accident or design it made me wonder were this would take place.  Now that legacy has come out and the dawn of the seeker is close at hand I bet next location is Orlasis. I just want to see what others think and what new abilities do you think we will get. Maybe the legacy is what had to happen to free the dragons and we did it freeing the magisters thraw I.E. wich ever side you picked now we have thier respect or at least a chance to get it? I just want to see what anyone thinksPosted Image

I think it was something from early in DA2's development where the devs wanted to make a scene where Hawke and company were riding Flemeth.

How they were riding her I'll leave up to your imagination.

I would like to see this infamous 'dragon riding' image. Until then, I refuse to believe it exists.

I think it would be more likely that Flemeth would turn Hawke into a dragon and fly him around the skies of Thedas.

I'm sure if the dragon scene emerges, Varric will be narrating. "I sh*t you not...Hawke rode the dragon into Tevinter and had it belch fire onto the main citadel of the Imperium itself! And that was before breakfast."

I like this as it is really what he would say. I am having problems finding the pic of hawke riding a dragon, so if anyone can post please do. I do hope the new item pack out this week auto levels. I just wish my legacy key item leveled with me I hope they fix.

lol riding a Dragon seems like something more fit for Skyrim than Dragon Age. I don't see how that could possibly work in this series, so I don't believe any such thing will happen.

I don't see it happening in Skyrim either lol.  I do wish they would talk in either game and not be all "RAWR", tailswipe, fireball.

I thought it was bite-claw-claw-back claw-back-claw-tailswipe, then next round, breath weapon. At least that's how it is when my DM drops a dragon on the table. Posted Image

Leave the Dragon riding to the skies of Pern. Now, as far as riding a Qunari into battle after they've completed their transformation to armored cattle, THAT would be cool.

I haven't been able to find one yet but I believe it wasn't meant to be shown and got pulled quick.  There is a note on their twitter feed saying something along the lines of don't pay any attention to the wyvern as it was an optical illusion...

Grey Wardens use to ride gryphons into battle. I'm sure someone could figure out how to raise dragons to be battle mounts, it would be great against hordes of Darkspawn.

It would never happen but the mental picture it paints is pretty epic.

Oh its not in Skyrim, that has already been confirmed, would have been nice though. And they do talk in Skyrim, that's how they do that fireball. In DA, they must have some means of communication, like the codex says in Origins, because of the Dragon cults. If they "RAWR" tailswipe, fireball on sight, how do these people get in and around their young? I would be interested in talking to a dragon, that is not Flemeth.

Because the Griffons are dead, so why the hell wouldn't you ride a Dragon instead?

Riordan did have a brief jaunt on the archdemon-dragon in DA:O. Now, had there been a saddle and some reins, it might have turned out differently for him.

Riordan just sucked at QTE. Hawke would just press A for AWESOME!

Where are you getting all this info on Skyrim?  The official site is annoying.

Really hope they never do this. Or at least not with Hawke, there's no good reason for him to be able to control dragons. Maybe the OGB at best.

Gryphons being extinct is meh when it comes to game revenue and coolness.  I wouldn't be surprised if one or two showing up in future games.

Kind of my thoughts also. What if all the old gods and creators were really just like flemeth people that can take shape of dragons and they battled all the time. What if they got free from there prison, It would make sence that the creators are elves the shapeshift into dragons and have been battleing the old gods who are another type of dragon.

I see that Morrigan in her wisdom frees the old gods from there prison and we end up freeing the creators and Hawke and the warden choose sides or just kill as many dragons as they can. I want my warden to learn how to become a dragon.

DA Dragons seems to possess some capacity for intelligent thought, mainly the High Dragons when it comes to protecting their vast clutches of dragonlings. I have no idea how the communication function works between a dragon and the cultists worshipping it, but I'm sure it goes along the lines of if you do something wrong, you probably end up dead. Enough people turn up dead, the rest kinda go 'oh, make a note NOT to do that.'

Maybe Kolgrim's Horn is a clue, considering he was carrying it and the High Dragon in Haven only attacks if you use the horn.

Or one other blade. I mean, Duncan pulled it off in the Calling because he had two blades to stick into that dragon.
