Should be three chests around the momentum statue where you start the legacy DLC if you have it.

Ok armor looks nice but I've seen better in other games and even those created by mods, ok some are a bit revealing but hey it is an 18+ game. Maybe this has been done before but wouldn't it be nice if Bioware ran a competition to let people design the next weps/armor for the next either story or item dlc.

As I said maybe someone else knows if this has been done before or not.

Dude there are revealing aspects? Where? Which ones? My females are tired of not being able to flaunt it.Image IPB

With the exception of the Grey Warden Runic armor, I'd love to see a single set of armor made by mods that looks better than the best of the DA2 armor.
I challenge you to post a picture of such armor.

It's hard to judge what you might think is better, it might certainly be not better then everything... but certainly better then most... these are the only stuff I come across which looks good and is standalone :

I don't think these two mage outfits are in any way "better" than anything else in-game, more a case of personal taste.
By "better" I would have expected unique textures and models, neither of which are present here.

Thanks for posting these. They're certainly better (in terms of colour) than what you can find at the start of the game. :)

If it's already installed, be sure to log on to the servers in the game's opening menu to authorize/authenticate the DLC.

Bioware really needs to take some tips from Capcom's Monster Hunter series. If you have ever seen some of the high ranking armor in those games, you will know what I am talking about.

The Kushala Daeora, and Fatalis armor from the PSP installment, and the Alatreon, and Devil Jho armor from Tri are great examples of cool looking armor.

Also, the armor from Origins and Awakening were great. Armor of the Sentinel, King Cailen's armor, juggernaut, and legion of the dead all looked cool. There really isn't a good excuse for crappy looking armor in DA II.

That is your opinion. I think the armor we've seen so far in DA2 (with one or two exceptions) is way better and more varied than Origins and Awakening.
Besides, the first item pack contains a set of armor modelled after the Legion armor.

I haven't purchased any of the item packs, but have seen pictures. Basically, that is DLC armor (not included in the base game). The base game of DA II doesn't really have any cool armor. The Champion armor is literally the only cool armor in DA II.

I know i am not the only person who thinks that DA II lacks variety, because it does. DA: O, and DA:A had much more variety, and better looking armor.

also, that armor that was shown from the Dragon Age Nexus. I think it definitely looks better than most armor in DA II.

Bioware showed everybody that they could make awesome looking armor in DA: O. That fact that they didn't get creative in DA II is a dissapointment.

The only real difference the armor that da:o had was what colour they were - expect of course plot relevant armour.

Just went to the dutch psn to download the item pack and noticed that there is no all class itempack available, i have to download them seperately at a price of 3 euros each, 9 euro in total.
Thats like 13 usdollars, seems a bit steep to me for an itempack.
It just takes the fun out of it, were does there greed end...

This is objectively false. Origins and Awakening had two robe models, one leather model, one heavy model, and one massive model. The sole difference was color. A few of the special sets had unique textures.

DAII has... oh, four or five of each? And there are still color variations within each model.

You can say you liked Origins' armor better. I think that's inane, but it is an opinion, and you're entitled to it. But DAII has vastly more variety, and that is a fact.

This **** just makes me laugh like I going to really pay for item pack 2. I was a sucker for buying the first item pack. How about more content around Hawke or news on a coming soon expansion pack. How about hiring a new artist who can really design armor and weapon because those in DA2 didnt cut it.
If Bioware have came out with some differnt armor for your compaions then I would have jump for it.

How about this - if you don't want to buy it, just don't, instead of criticising what is actually a pretty good looking set of items.
If you have been keeping up to date with things you would have known that they are in fact announcing something at PAX this weekend.
Besides that, we just had an awesome Legacy DLC a few weeks ago.
What exactly do you want? An announcement and new story-based DLC on a daily basis? NO game developer can offer that.
Show a little appreciation or if you don't have anything constructive to add, keep quiet.

Not sure who thinks these sets are low powered, the ones I have equiped are the 7-9 so far and they seem monty hall to me. I will agree with one thing though, the weapons suck beenie weenies. The rogue has a choice of meat cleavers or hand axes. How about some dual sabers like in Prince of Persia :) Or take that 2 handed sword in the first warrior pack and shrink it down to dagger size. Those would be cool. And for the mage something close to the Champion 2 handed sword, take third of the staff spellforge from awakening and place a slightly smaller sword on it. A little like the staff of parthalan but where the blade end is bigger than the staff end. *drools* lol No one would ever build stuff like that though. :)

Wow.

I bought the first Mage item pack because the armor was pretty decent looking, and didn't scream "HELLO I AM A MAGE!"

This, though?

My extremely fabulous Hawke is in my head going, "Oh, honey, no..."

I'll be sticking with the Vow of Pride mod robe and the modded, evolving Staff of Parlathan that has no naked women or dead nugs on it.
