Only thing worthy from this pack is rogue helm, which is the first of it's kind that can be called a HELM.

So on the Rogue Pack 2 image it has this bit:

Loghain was a notorious bandit before he turned general.

Is that true? I didn't read any of the books but in Origins he was a simple farm boy who saved Maric and became his greatest friend and commander.

Yes, he fought against the Orlesian occupation, in a "bandit" group led by his father (they were farmers, but also rebels).

Loghain's mother was raped and killed by an Orlesian Commander, Loghain's father killed the man and they were forced to flee their farm and live as outlaws. Maric ran into Loghain when the latter was out poaching.

The Stolen Throne covers all that. :P

Not quite. They tried to avoid the
Orlesians as much as possible. But the group was attacked by Orlesian
soldiers hunting for Maric and Loghain's father was killed.

And when were these made? I'm sure I've already seen some of these armours before via mods. Hopefully wrong...

I don't know, you haven't, and you are.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up!

My worries came from the first pack, where the Malcom armour was just a re-skinned Viscount robe.

Its an improvement on the appearance packs that just added new clothes for the main characters.

But I still won't buy any DA II DLC until something is done about retooling it or releasing a toolkit to allow the community to fix it. I relize Bioware's business model is to gain value from their game development by selling bling, but...how do I put this politely...a golden smelly thing is still a smelly thing. You can dress it up all you like, but the foundation is still flawed.

Let me preface what I am about to say in the next paragraph by saying I bought this pack and the first one and I'm very likely to buy the next one as well. I like adding new items to the game as it brings new life to it and gives me the sudden urge to replay the game, which is great because I do like Dragon Age II a whole lot

With that being said, for ~5$ you couldn't make the two armor sets for each class look different? Really? That's so cheap.

I wouldn't mind getting the armor if only I could equip them to my followers.

I don't plan any new character, so these item-packs are really pointless to me. I bought the first one, 'cause at that time I wasn't "done" with the game, but now I have enough Hawkes and there's no need for more, so I'll only buy story-contents (maybe...).

By the way, I find this "buy more and better items"-thing pretty disgusting. ME2 weapon packs was insulting too, but these two are really-really overpriced, and this kind of milking makes me sick. You could say "hey, you bought the first one, hypocrite", but then I would say "hey, I got 1600 free BW points as a gift with DA2 Signature Edition (thanks to my local gaming shop), technically it was free (like the Legacy DLC too), therefore it didn't hurt much, so I really had to see it, before making a love/hate-decision".

I made the decision, so no more item packs for me.

I'd rather have another expansion.

This. It bugs me that 2/3 of all the armor in the game is reduced to vendor trash depending on whether  Hawke's a rogue, warrior, or mage.

Better daggers for rogues would be nice. Not very rogue like running around with hatchets and cleavers. DA:O had way better gear, and just about everything else. And yes, the majority of items in this game are trash since you can't do anything with your companions.

Anyone know why Bethany's Ring (Grandmother Amell's Wedding Band) doesn't level up? All the other companion Accessories in Pack II does.

Generally likes the pack particually the twin hand axes, didn't like the staff at all though felt to childish having a pair of nugs staues tied at 1 end and although i liked the armours having identical looking pairs with only different stats felt a bit half hearted

It is one of those staves my Hawke hides in the bottom of her backpack and only magic up when she is fighting spirit immune enemies. Why most my Hawke choice between naked lady and dog staff, bioware... I have actually grown accomstumed to the naked lady so I guess I will get used to the mummified dogs.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the mummified pair of baby nugs staff either.

While the dogs (who look less mummified to me than they do carved of stone) may *possibly* resemble piglets, and therefore nuglets (though I don't believe we have ever seen a nuglet), the nug is a denizen of the Deep Roads and dwarven lands. Therefore, it makes no sense for the creature to be associated with a Fereldan staff.

The ever-wise ishmaeltheforsaken has the right of it.

I just wish they would have put some other mummified baby animals on it, not nugs. I mean, really? Nugs?
