I'm very disappointed that both sets of armour for each class look the same. This pack cost the same as the last, so I expected it to have about the same content.
The rogue & mage armour looks good, at least (I haven't tried the warrior) and the staff is wacky but usable. I can see Merrill using a stick with dogs/nugs/bears/whatever stuck to it. I adore the rogue axes.
My request for another pack is a two-handed sword that levels up. Something that looks classy, a real sword (eg. Might of Sten, NOT Empress's Point.) Another classy staff (eg. Parlathan) would be good, too.
Dragon Age II Item Pack #2 is now available

Yeah Empress's Point is one of (if not the) most Cliche weapons in this game, really ^^

I for one am glad that BioWare coded the Item Pack DLCs. It's nice to have items that level-up with you.
More DLCs plus an expansion, please - I've purchased all of them.

Not interested in any more item packs, but another story related dlc would be nice. I'm also hoping for a DA2 expansion at some point.

Seems like Hawke is getting all the love. How about some Alternate Appearance Pack for the others?
Then again, beggars cant be choosers - I am waiting until the Ultimate Edition hits the stores and as such no money from individual download from me.

*sigh*
These item packs are really mixed bags.
Pro:
- as always the new armors look great
- the war picks (designated as axes) that the rogue gets are an improvement over the weird dwarven daggers from the first pack, still no luck though for those of us who like elegant blades
- the new shield is a vast improvement over the boiler plate from the first pack
- more bling for my crew, word!
Con:
- both armors for each class share the same model ; that's quite cheap, especially considering that the first pack didn't resort to this
- the warrior gets a 1-handed axe again, but this time it looks like a meat cleaver, great! ; did someone eat all the longswords?
Considering that these item pack DLCs must have a fantastic "work-hours spent / money earnt"-ratio compared to story DLCs like Legacy, I am starting to think that Bioware should really put a bit more effort into future item packs. A wider selection of different weapons per pack would be a great thing IMO.

One thing I'd like to see is actual questing for armor. I mean, yeah we can do it in the games. Mostly. When everything decides to drop. (Bitter. I just played Awakening again. Sigh. High dragon.) But I'd kinda like to work for it, not just pay for it. Like the weapons in Legacy. The staff or sword or dagger.
That was awesome. A totally awesome blade that I gave history, instead of weapons that had history when I opened my random chest in Gamlen's house. Seriously, if I had a Chest of Awesome, I wouldn't leave it in Gamlen's house.
Oh! Download complete! Now to play.

Just purchased it. Haven't had a chance to play it, but if it's just a new set or armour and weps then it's a no brainer. I'll like it. I like having new stuff, gives me a chance for another play through.
Although, I wish you guys would stick in a new game+ option. I hate characters that essentially die once you finish the main quest. Even Bethesda admitted it's a stupid thing to do.

It's new armor but unfortunately it is not as awesome as their first item pack. The weapons are all about it.

So much armor for only one character that can use it. 2/3 of the armor isn't used during a play through. What a bunch of useless inventory management. Inventory sub-sorting or filtering by class would make it more convenient to sell useless gear to a vendor. Or perhaps a button to sell all non-class armor at once. 2/3 of all armor at any given time is useless "grey" junk.

Did anyone like the items for their nostalgic qualities? I liked everything okay, especially the Kel's bow and the fiona dagger. I was just kind of like, meh? when Maric's helm was for a rogue. I just always assumed he was a warrior.

I loved all the items.Yeah Icaved, since i wanted to get through the game quicker. It seems to make in-gam combat stutter.

Once again it's absurdly overpriced (~1/6th the price of the game)! And once again you're giving PS3 owners a "deal" that nobody else is getting. Even with that deal, though, it's still overpriced.
Yet another reason for me to give up on the Dragon Age franchise. Too bad, I came on the forum again today hoping for good news.

No, these should all be high-resolution (even the weapons!).
It's just the first item pack that still doesn't have any hi-res textures, five months later.

wont buy in low res again. simply not acceptable. dont care about cost, but on good machines it just spoils the fun looking at the characters. major letdown in item pack 1
