Can someone please ask if Sebastian's romance will be developed, and if we will see any familiar faces from either game before DAIII. Thank you!

It's a Bioware tradition to have former companions & NPCs make a cameo within future installments.
As for the Sebastian...would most likely assume he's romance will branch out in a soon-to-be expansion. Either an expansion or companion based DLC.

Sebastian is a chantry boy, don't expect to peel his orange any day soon.

Well, he's a princely boy for my FemHawke. He has a duty to produce an heir Maker-dammit! As does Hawke as Viscountess really. Ooh, can someone ask if we'll see Anora again?

If Sebastian does break he's vow of chastity for FemHawke(Thought folks used LadyHawke?, nvm), the chains would be unleashed after they wed. Maybe if you're a mage, you can use blood magic and bind him to your demands and peel his banana sooner then later. :)

I second that question. Make an impressive scene regarding Anora and Alistair!, or The Warden for folks who romanced him.

Am I the only one who knows how to marry Sebastian in the game?

His vows are over. As far as I'm concerned he broke them when he walked out the chantry door armored with bow to post his...note.

I'll definitely be there!  In fact, I plan on excusing myself temporarily from a friend's birthday celebration to attend.

Clearly, I am a better fangirl than friend.  :wizard:

Yet the Scottish Stallion wouldn't gift FemHawke the keys to copulation. You could perceive it to your pleasure.

Maybe intercourse isn't important in their relationship which is likely. Not sure on Rivalry Sebastian, but if you're treading upon the Friendship path...isn't there a scene with Seb and FemHawke swearing their vows to the Maker? From that I conclude that he's chastity belt shall not be unfastened until marriage.

Regarding PAX, can't wait for the revelation of this DLC you've promised us! :D

I don't think that belt's coming undone at all lol. Legacy makes it clear they haven't slept together even though they're "married".

No thank you. I want nothing to do with him but am not against others having options. Posted Image

For those who will be there, please ask about the Dalish. Will they have a bigger role in the world of Dragon Age? Will we ever get to see keeper Gisharel, given that we have seen some other codex personalities? (And if you are feeling sarcastic, will we ever get to see an actual forest in DA2? :) )
Thanks in advance!

This. I'd buy any DLC or expansion that included a Anora cameo, especially if it's a reunion between my disappeared King Cousland and Anora.

This so many times over. I doubt we'll see the warden again in DLC, if we do see them again at all, but I want his wife to appear!

I also hope that someone records this and posts it on the web, as I am never able to attend these types of meetings since they are never near my part of the country.  If someone has some time here are a few things I am curious about.

1.  Will there be an expansion for DA2 or will we have to be content with DLC?

2.  Is there any chance that there maybe a 2.0 polished version, not just patching.  Similar to what the teams for Witcher 1&2 have done?

3.  If there is to be no expansion then is it possible that the DLC will shift away from item packs and more for story oriented content.  Also can the DLC be post campaign.

4.  This last one is not really what I hope to hear about but more what I do not what to hear.  For the love of the Maker I hope that you do not release a possible target date for DA3.  That game should not be released any sooner than late 2013 to mid 2014.  I know some people want the game to be released as soon as possible but please take heed to some of the feedback about DA2 and take more quality time to develope the game.  The true fans of the franchise will appreciate it and your base would become stronger.

During Gamescom, they've said they're pondering whether or not they should create an expansion. For DLC, their plan is to release item packs between each story contained DLC. As for a polished DAII...probably no, rather have them working on an expansion than a 2.0 DAII. Mechanics and all that **** can be reconfigured in another DA installment.

Concerning DAIII and future games. They should spend the amount of time needed on making the next game polished with a sprinkle of decisions that branch throughout the storyline and actually shift the plot. I'd list the changes that would improve the game, but threads with this topic have been made many times over.

EDIT: Meant to type Jazz...oh well. ._.

2014 is when we're getting into next-gen console territory. It'll come out before that. I have a feeling we will see it in late 2013, though. And, plus, long cycles of development and time don't necessarily equal good. Too short is a problem, for sure, but just having people take a bunch of years for the sake of a bunch of years is not a good thing. If anything, the more time means the more money spent, which leads to more interference from higher level execs (from say EA) who will want to push it to have a greater CoD-type audience to make back all the money spent during that development. It's the same dynamic with Hollywood movies. More budget, longer schedules equals less of a chance for anything deemed "risky" to be taken into account.

Big mistake.

Cons have started recording every single panel for a few years now. It's going to be the future of Con Marketing. Hell, SDCC even has a panel to see recorded panels!

Yeah, are we supposed to just take the attendees' word for it on any new information/reveals?

Just because it doesn't get recorded, doesn't mean we (people not in attendance) won't get the same amount of information afterwards. I'd think, at least.

While you may be right about 2014 being the target for the next gen console I never considered that.  To me these games are or should be developed for PC first then ported at some point.  Consoles are alright but I prefer the PC for gaming.  As for the taking years for the sake of years that can be viewed another way.  Take the Witcher or Elderscrolls team.  Both have taking several years and put them to good use before releasing their next product.  Witcher 2 especially.  While I love DA:O, DAII left a lot to be desired.  It felt like it was dumbed down for those who have no paitence or intelligence to figure out the puzzles of the game, add that to the recycled area and well you can see where this is heading.  It would be nice to see if they would take there time to develope quality over just rushing it out.  Also if the new generation consoling may be coming out in 2014 developers now will have some access to those materials to make things some what compatible.  That kind of leap is not done in just a year or two.

Da3 should take the time da3 needs to take to be made. No longer and no less. There isn't really anything we can about development time anyway, of all the discussion in this forums it doesn't really pay off.
