So, let's help them a bit.

edit:
This has probably been mentioned a few thousand times by now: Why not let us choose who to start playing as? Warden (requires import), Hawke (requires import), the new protoganist (does not neccecarily require an import). It's still the same game and the same content, with slight adjustments to try to make sense as to why <insert played character> is doing this. If this is done, then the ''this and that is canon'' discussions will finally be rid of.

I just hope DA3 won't be a action-adventure game like DA2. More RPG elements and more emphasis on storytelling will be crucial, but most people are skeptical towards BioWares ability to deliver.
Most people? Bold statement. You will most likely eat those words soon.
They have already proven they CAN deliver with Legacy, and I'm sure the trend will continue.

The Legacy DLC is a good step in the right direction and a good formula for future DA2 DLC. But its not enough for DA3.
And dont forget, the Legacy DLC took a lot of time to be made. Several posts of the developer hinted that they had already a DLC ready to deliver, but they took it back because there were several people who were not "happy" with the corners that were cut. I dont know if Legacy was build from the scratch or if it needed "only" to be reworked on the graphic.
The Bioware team made a huge effort on the Legacy DLC and it was good received, even from people who dislike DA2 (like me).
Im not giving up the franchise, but i remain skeptical. Only time will prove if DA3 will have more RPG elements.
The question is not if the Bioware devs are capable to deliver more RPG elements in DA3. They are more than capable to do so. The question is: Which direction will DA3 go?

I don't know why in the hell everyone is talking about a Dragon Age 3, when Bioware has not confirmed anything nor have they even finished the Dragon Age 2 story. DA2 like came out not that long ago, what was it March 9th of this year & just like DAO its most likely DA2 will have an expansion pack coming, along with another DLC or two. So we should stay focused on finishing the DA2 story of Hawk. Just saying people, just saying!

Should be relased 2014 or something. I don't want it to come out erly.
EA will decide when DA3 gets released.
What does it matter "when" they release it? What matters is whether or not we get the quality game we're all after.
If they can deliver that by 2013, then great!

Well for DA3 they don't have to rebuild mostly from scratch, and they have a bigger team now so...
Frankly, I thought there were going to be some firing after DA2 fiasco.

Cause of fiasco?
But I guess EA decided to give Bioware another shot. If DA3 fails, I guess firing event WILL occur.

Yeah I don't think it works that way...

I aint talking about people. I'm talking about the sales. DA2 didn't earn half the money they expected. That sort of result end up with consequences. Theres nothing unreal in what I said.

Well, now. Somebody here mentioned the connection between item packs and DLCs. First, there was item pack #1, which had items labeled as Malcolm's something. Next thing we know, we get Legacy DLC with history of Hawke family. We got item pack #2, with items labeled with names of famous Ferelden leaders. Wonder what will be in next DLC? Hmmm?
Maybe it was only coincidence?

remember that there were also a lot of items not labeled as Malcom's something, only the Mage items were related to Malcolm. However it would be neat if the next DLC shows us something about Duncan, And his items were also in the item pack...
