Hey there, Ive convinced my friend to buy Neverwinter nights 2 and we are planning a legendary Lan when he gets his vacation from work.

I never played neverwinter nights 2 multiplayer but completed the campaign.
Got some questions regarding gameplay.
We are going to play through the original campaign. How does the party system work when in multiplayer. And if there is none of the characters from the singleplayer dosent the game become pretty hard when you are just 2 pepole?.
How does the conversation system work when you are in multiplayer? is it the Host that controlls everything or?

And when ive played the singleplayer ive come across some bugs and crashes, how is the multiplayer? can you play through the enire campaign without problems? Meaning if i host and the game crash can i just log back in to the server or do we have to start over from save point etc?
Feel free to post any toughts on the multiplayer, its a long game and if we played for like 10+ hours and then runs in to problems i will be sad ^^.

Usually, it's the party leader that controls conversations and also gets access to things like henchmen. However, with SoZ, a new conversation system was developed that allows other party members to be involved. Best way to find out though is to probably just jump in with both feet. What's the worst that can happen...?

I believe you can save games in multiplayer, and while PWs don't permit this, it does make sense for LAN play. The save game would be on the host.
