So, dangerous and unbalanced. And if they're so successful, I don't see any reason why I need to be propping them up specifically.

You are with them or against them... and you don't want to be against them.

She still deserves to be punished for aiding and abetting Saren.

I'd prefer to take her into custody. Just executing her on the spot feels out of place.

It worked with the Battle of the Citadel. And so far, I haven't seen a need to truly be against humanity, only Cerberus.

The sensible and realistic thing to do with Shiala would have been to hand her over to the alliance for questioning and potential trial.

Cerberus and humanity are one and the same!

Why would the Alliance have any jurisdiction? She should be sent to the Republics, if anything.

Oh. Well, then, it looks like humanity is trying to kill me.

No, Cerberus is in the buisness of advancing itself.

People have a hard time with the idea that a group that is made up of humans isn't by definition 'humanity'. How many human dictators have there been that wanted to put themselves on top without having to answer to anyone and do whatever they wanted to do? Giving Cerberus advanced technology given their record and the fact TIM lies and decieves you multiple times in the game is not only wrong its insane.

Gosh, I don't know, maybe becuse she was caughtin the act of committing a crime against Alliance citizens in Alliance controlled space?

That MIGHT have something to do with it!

Is Shepard being tried by the Batarian Hegemony?

I didn't know that Cerberus was also called the Alliance.

No, but if they were the ones to capture him they'd have every right to put him on trial.

Fortunately for Shepard the Alliance has no extradition treaty with the Batarian Hegemony so they'll never send him to them once they're done with him.

Cerberus is a human group. Al Qaeda is a human group. Neither group 'is' humanity

If Cerberus was humanity than humanity would have gotten itself destroyed centuries ago.

My Shepard wrote a mission report -> the council and the alliance (Udina, Anderson) read it -> they could always arrest Shiala.

I wonder if the Alliance has one with the Republics.

Oh well. I'll do my best to save humanity in ME3, but saving lives in general is more important.

How many of those "successes" resulted in the death of either the entire or the vast majority of the crew, *note you should only count those for half.

How many of those only succeeded because of Shepard's direct involvement? Those should only count for half as well.

We're against Cerberus in ME3.

So....killing TIM will be a lot of fun.

Deaths are irrelevant as long as the objective is reached.

Even if you insist on counting those only as "half" success because people died (why does that matter?), that's still an impressive track record. Especially when you consider the kind of opposition Cerberus is up against a lot of the time.

If Cerberus and humanity are the same thing, then screw it, I'm feeding us to the Reapers after the blinks.

If Shiala needs to answer for her deeds, Cerberus must answer for their atrocities

And where are they now? Oh, that's right, trying to kill me. Wonderful thing, loyalty.

I didn't hear anyone complaining when I saved the Destiny Ascension, of course...

From the top of my head: Bring Down the Sky, the Rachni Queen, Dr. Saleon, the Council, the Genophage, the refinery on Zorya, Keiji's graybox, Joram Talid, Sidonis, Ronald Taylor, the Patriarch, Aresh, Oriana and publically unveiling Rael'Zorah's crime.

And possibly the pro-Cerberus choices as well, depending on your perspective.

Win. /thread.

Of-course not. Bioware wouldn't want to trouble your pretty little head with anything but praise.

We get to kill a lot of Cerberus pukes in 3.

And I'm cool with that.

Well, I also did get humans a seat on the Council. I imagine that softened the blow of a six-ship loss a little.
