The reapers seem to have a thing about insect species that ive seen i mean the keepers are a inect like race and have been turned into the indoctrinated caretaker of the citadel, the prothean were also turn into indoctrinated servants for the reapers to test other species viablity of becoming reapers. there also the rachni the most recent group that were indoctrinated and forced in to fighting the galaxie till there extinction.
anyone see a pattern in this?

You make a good observation. I think that maybe most inect races are like a hive mind so indoctrination maybe alot easier to control. The only other hive mind that I can think of to fall under the reapers spell was the Geth. they were the only other ones that were not inects.

Hive mind theory seems good, as Geth share it.

Each Reaper can only assume direct control over one mind at a time. So yeah, as long as they can control the leader of a hive-mind species it's easy to dominate over the entire species.
The keepers have evolved to listen to the Citadel, which is likely the Reapers' doing. That way they don't have to spend so much energy controlling each one.

Heh, I still don't get if the Keepers got Prothean'd, from an even older cycle perhaps, or if they were just completely bioengineered by the Reapers from nothing.

That's not necessarily true now, is it?Stammer6 wrote...

The Collector General could only direct-control one at a time, but the CG was Harbinger's conduit of control. Does that mean Harbinger couldn't have had another conduit? Nothing says so yet.

The Rachni are modeled after arachnids, hence the name Rachni.
They are not modeled after insects.:police:And they have 8 appendages (but only walk on 4 of them). But unlike arachnids, who are solo creatures, the Rachni have a queen and a hive mind:?
