I went searching online to see if others have done this before.  I'm playing ME2 on the Xbox, second run through.  I had romanced Liara in ME1, and started romancing Garrus in ME2.  I made the Shadow Broker my last quest before the suicide mission.  

Liara mentioned Garrus a few times, but at the end I told her I only wanted to be with her.  Thus the romance continued.   Afterwards I visited Garrus to see if there was any changes, and there weren't.  He never mentioned it.  Then before the suicide mission Garrus came by and well... you know.

So what do you think will happen during my Mass Effect 3 play through?  Which one do you think will stick?  Was it a glitch or something many others have dealt with?

So nobody has had this happen before eh? Well I guess I'll just have to wait till Mass Effect 3 comes out to see what happens...

If the picture of Liara in Shepard's room is face down then yes you will most likely have some explainen to do regardless of your actions in LotSB. Now will there be different reactions if you did the deed with her again after promising her/persuading her in ME2 after completing LotSB we don't know. It would be nice but alas we don't know. Regardless you will have something happen just like any of the other LIs from ME1 if their picture is face down.

How do you even Romance Liara on ME1 anyway, played 3 times (First time my save vanished when I upgraded to Windows 7... ), and the second one was for ME2, Third to try and get a high amount of Renegade points, but I never got the option to romance Liara. How do you do it?

Liara isn't that hard to romance. Just be nice to her, and when she asks, tell her you're interested.

Liara is hard as hell not to get ninjamanced by in ME1. Wish I knew your secret synyster!

As for Garrus' romance scene in ME2, I'm still not convinced femshep actually sleeps with him. The scene is very unclear and unlike Jacob's or Miranda's it really doesn't go anywhere.
