and this are only 2 of the many ways she can end up dead

I don't like the idea either especially if Miranda is forced to be my xo again I hate her. I can see why TIM made her my xo w/o my opinion he needed to keep an eye and leash on his investment but considering I said FU to him I should be able to pick my xo as soon as we get to the Citadel at least.

Jack is a character that shouldn't have ever been made for the series along with Kasumi just because their skillsets aren't useful in a war capacity.

While I agree that they were very uninteresting, its really just a matter of opinion. Personally, I think ME would be better without Miranda and Jacob. Everyone dislikes some characters. Ill admit though, I hate that they made Miranda so hard to kill on the suicide mission. Really? Garrus will die from getting shot when not loyal but Miranda survives? Are you kidding me? What the ****?

Fenris had the decency to crack a funny joke every now and again. Miranda just took up space on my ship and refused to die on the suicide mission.

lol Miranda died  on the Suicide Mission way to easy even if i was trying to keep her alive 
i noticed that as soon one  squadmate  is not loyal there is a verry high chance Miranda will be the one who is paying for it 
and it makes little difference who is not loyal unless that character dies 


 

What are you talking about, dude? Miranda only dies if she's not loyal and you bring her to the final boss.

Then you have one very bugged game because it is impossible for a loyal squadmate to die when taken to the final battle.

The ONLY way Miranda can die in a non-bugged version of the game is...

Taking her non-loyal to the final battle (just same as any non-loyal squadmate)

Having her as non-loyal squadmate left to defend the door with the average squad score being less than 2 and none of the following being non-loyal (Jack, Kasumi, Tali and Mordin) defending the door along with her unless get the score to level to kill of 2 or more squadmates.

Check this topic for clarification...

Edit: As for this topic, I think Ghost Warrior said it best earlier, if oyu don't want to see Jack and Miranda in ME3, simple, kill them off.

One other point to mention, they haven't been confirmed as squadmates yet anyway so I don't see why you are worrying.

to clarify: i'm not worrying at all, at least not about Miranda  or squadmates i do not like,
since i just make sure they don't survive the `suicide mission so i don't have to bother with them

i am sort of worrying for a solid and final game since there are a lot of ME3 stuff  floating around on the interwebs about ME3 being multiplayer  etc.
 so i have decided to sort of avoid any ME3 rumors / info until  a later date or release
since i want to be totally blown away by it, and have as little spoiled as possible and get the same experience as when i first played DAO ... i knew nothing about it and it sort of took me by surprise
that's what i want and hope for  ME3 but ... after  the dissapointing Arrival . have my doubts 
and all the ME3 info floating around doesn't help either  so that's why i  decided for an ME3 Blackout at least for now

just want a solid game that is closer to ME1 instead of ME2
or at the very least takes the best out of both games and turn it into me3

mranda i don't mind coming back. as for jack i doubt they funded bringing her back to life in my games...lol only one to buy the farm....couldn't stand her

Jack's character and story might be a little cliche', but I liked BW's take on it. Plus, she's second behind Liara as far as LI goes IMO. As for Miranda, I loved her as a squad-mate because she has the most diverse and useful set of talents next to my Shep (Vanguard with Reave bonus power) .

Jack is one of the characters I'm more interested in getting to know more about. She has great potential - BioWare can take her in any direction they please, so I'm eager to see where they're gonna go with her.

I don't care much about Miranda, but I don't dislike her. There's others I'm less interested in.

I like their characters (Jack in particular), but I'm not crazy about the idea of them returning either.

Though I'd love to have that elephant in the room conversation with Jack about "Y'know, I know more about **** Cerberus experimentation than you think" that the writers bafflingly decided not to make an option in ME2. It'd be great for characters that are romancing Jack, or even just characters that might be friends with her... like sole survivor shepards.

I really like Jack and I love Miranda. They're two of my favourite characters from the whole franchise. I think ME3 would be significantly poorer for the loss of one of them, let alone both.

They got plenty of screentime in ME2, almost too much for my taste.. Miranda, Jack, and Jacob (yes, I'm bringing Jacob into this) presence, were almost irritating at times..

I didn't talk to Legion really on any of my playthroughs other than for their LM, same goes for Thane. I wasn't really that interested to find out more. Still those aren't even close to being my least favorite characters.

But yeah, I suppose you're one of the few. Good for you, I guess.

Miranda and Jacob got a bit more screentime as they were with you from the beginning (and b/c they were Cerberus they appeared in the few mission debriefings you had.)   However, after you get started recruiting, you don't see Miranda/Jacob hardly at all...

Still, I don't think it was all that much.  Mordin had more time as well since he appeared in the debriefings.  

I'm not sure why you are saying the same for Jack, though.

Miri is a fan favourite.

Jack looks like she has more of a story to tell.  Plus the friction between her and Miri should be entertaining

Yes you are. Miranda's the most effective squadmate in the series and Jack's one of the most powerful biotics in the series. Both are fan favorites.

Yeah, really. Miranda is my squadmate of choice, but Jack is pretty damn cool. And if they come to blows, well what happens happens.
