Its going to be a very long six months until Mass Effect 3 with stupid threads like these. Like a said before EVERYONE is coming back, not just Jack and Miranda.

No one seems to pay attention to what BioWare confirms. At least you do though!

I pay attention to what Bioware confirms; they confirmed everyone returning but said that only a few would be on a permament basis. Which I would assume is the reason for this thread...

I hope both characters will return as squadmates but Miranda is more imortant to me (I always kill Kaidan -> no sentinel, I loved the Liara/Miranda squad in LOTSB).

I want to see Miranda and Jack back for the same reason I want to see Jacob, Garrus, and Tali back: they have a lot of room for growth. Their story arcs lacked maturity and full resolution, unlike Wrex, Liara, Samara, Thane, etc.

Truth be told, I want to see everyone back. I liked and disliked almost everyone in ME2 for different reasons, but I still liked them all more or less and wouldn't want anyone to be "left out".

So I'm hoping to explore new things with the party members, and I'm hoping some of them will change my mind what I think of them.

I am with you on this issue, man

I value their polt lines and their worth in the whole galixy, but, i never like their personalitys

Miranda always seemed very snooty, and like she was better than everyone else, that personallity turns me off, and i know she was "designed" that way, but she does not have to show it

Jack was just pyco, she has that soft side, but you rarly see it, and even then its still has that twang of "i don't trust you" or "stay out of my way", and its a little scarry

They are still very important to the story, but they where always my very last option when i picked my squad

Even the comfirmed features thread got changed by Evil Chris because there is nothing confirmed until the game is released.  That is what he said.  He changed the name of the thread to Known Features.

Why do most of these non-fan threads focus on negative crap?

Couldn't you have spent your time writing a thread like: 
Am I one of the few that isn't thrilled at the idea of Jack and Miranda {insert characters here] returning as Squadmates?

"For the love of all that is good these characters, all of them, have frickin' been in the trenches with Shepard and had his/her back. You don't have to love them but at least give them props for not running away and leaving Shepard's as5 hanging exposed."

I liked Miranda and Jack but I would prefer that they not return as permanent squadmates in ME3. There are other characters that I'd like to be permanent instead of them.

I bet that Miranda and Jack get into an epic biotic fight and they both end up killing each other, although if anyone were to win it would be Jack since she;s the one that's the most powerful biotic and one of only two squad members that can keep the biotic bubble and be able to push it back against the Collectors and seeker swarms. Miranda can't.

who bumped this back up? This was a random rage post when I thought I wouldn't get Legion and Mordin as full squadies. But since ME3 seems to be rotating people in and out i'm over it. I actually like these characters after the last few playthroughs.
