Alright, this has happened now quite a few times, so is it just me or are my neighbors being total hosers?

Blah do what I did, go out side and wave a rifle around and scream at them *PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP MUTHA ********!. Or in case of the dogs, chase them down with a nine iron, or if you catch one swing them around into things repeatidly, they soon won't return.

Well that was a good six minute rant.

Damn that Bus was noisy!! and they have the cheek to complain (or jump up and down) because you talk too loud!

I think you need to tape your PC speakers to the ceiling!  That will teach them a lesson!  B)   Or make it worse, but it cant get too much worse if they are already waking you up on purpose!

Well that's not as bad as my neighbours. These kids that live next door, they throw things(food mostly including jars and other glass containers) at our house at night.

Sorry you have to deal with that.  You aren't alone.

When mine aren't in jail, they are either drunk, high on cocaine, and/or selling pot they grew in the backyard.

I genuinely don't care what they do as long as they're quiet (we know their extended family, actually - they're all idiots/useless, but not violent), but then they start playing the drumset - badly - at 2:30 in the morning.  And we have to get up at 5:30 to be ready for work.  Yeah...

Im actually suprised that your neighbours are keeping you awake and not the traffic that sounds bloody unbearable.
Heres what you should do with your neighbour - Fill up a squeezy bottle with petrol. ( washing up liquid bottles like fairy or something similar) Then go knock on the door and when he answers with attitude squirt some on his feet and flick a match on them. Should cure that problem up.

Have you talked with your neighbours to try and come to some amicable resolution? At the very least, you could convince them that you're not the one playing music really loud.

I'm not happy with the quality of your ranting. It was more confused than angry, you need to grasp on to your fury at these people and run with it. It sounds like a nightmare place to live if you can hear music from several rooms away, you all must be drowning each other in noise.

I'm the angry neighbour around here, just tonight I had to go and demand that a radio be turned down again, I can't hear my tv with it. I had to question his mental faculties while I was there with the words "Are you retarded? Every time you turn it up to that volume you get told to turn it down yet the next day you do it again. Do you honestly expect a different result every time you do it? Are you the most optimistic person ever or are you that stupid? Next time I've to come out here to you I'm going to shove those speakers up your hole." I garantee he does it again tomorrow.

I have indeed, they don't seem to comprehend logic.
I also should have mentioned the time they were blasting music until 2am before they went to bed, and at 3am they started stomping because I was playing halo and they could hear it... HIPOCRACY!

The solution:

When about to leave for a trip that lasts a few days, play some loud, obnoxious music 24/7. Leave a note on your door that you are away.

give them a call. if they dont pick up, knock on the door. force a face to face. FORCE a face to face. and confront the situation with them to a resolution.
be polite, be patient, dont let it devolve into a shouting match no matter how hard they try.
Also understand their point of view then explain to them yours.
know your rights and know the groundrules of your complex.
Communication is KEY.

Alright, so I just went up to have a polite and civil discussion on this, and I was then hit with "YOU MAKE TOO MUCH F***ING NOISE! IMMA GET SERIOUS HERE, THIS BULL**** HASTA END OR YOU'RE GETTING EVICTED!"

I then tried to explain that the music doesn't come from my apartment and that when I do make noise it is either 1 fairly quiet or 2 very short lasting noise.
He started to get all huffy so I left. Calling Landlord tonight.
I don't see why he thinks he can go to the landlord over me, when I'm not the one waking up the whole apartment building by stomping on his floor.

get a friend who knows your situation or someone knowledgable about tenant confrontations.
sort out all the issues you've been having in your head. make a list if you have to.

Good idea, I should write a few talking points and try to avoid this turning into something more ugly than it should be.

Just act like you know voodo and splash chicken blood on the door, while using said blood to draw accult symbols. Pft you people and your "talks" and "policemen". Pfffft

Also is he related to the landlord, because honestly it sounds like he knows what he does and was rubbing it in your face. Plus that or he might bea gang member, murder you in your sleep. Point is if it comes down to word vs word, or the landlord fears/related to him it sounds more like you'll get in trouble. Course the landlord might just like getting paid, and not give a ****.

Always cover your backside, document everything you can just in case your un-neighborly neighbor tries to accuse you (by calling the police or the landlord) of being the one who is making the noise.

talk in 'I's like "I feel i am being treated unfairly" and avoid refering to them as in "You need to blahblahblah", from experience it turns conversations into alpha-male bs. Be on the level with him even if he doesnt. drive the conversation to a calm resolution.

I'm totally confused now.

I thought it was your neighbor who was making all the racket.

Indeed, aparently he believes you fight a slight amount of noise, with a lot of very loud noise...

Alright so the landlord is coming over tomorrow and I thank you guys for your advise, but I would definitely appreciate any more you have seeing as this is the first neighborly confrontation I've been in. (never lived in an apartment before this one)
