Since I am litterally learning this as I go along I am wondering if anyone knows this (because it could help me massively down the road).

There is a Neverwinter Nights 2 project for A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) persistent world http://gameofthrones.net/.

I have permission from the Project Lead that I can borrow, with permission and acknowledgement of where I got them, their resources IF they are able to be converted or imported from NWN2 into Dragon Age.

So my question is - is this possible? I love how they have done Westeros. While I think I can handle 'upgrading' the graphical work, I am hoping to be able to still import a good deal of their art, locals, etc if it is at all possible.

If not, I was prepared to start from scratch. Only occured to me last week to even think of doing this and searching the forums haven't led to me to knowing if this is possible or jot

Depends on what it is you want to import. You aren't going to be able to bring anything across in its native NWN2 format and just dump it in DA though. Models will need to be converted to the DA format using Max/Gmax (the most expedient vector, given the NWNMax script). For animated meshes (i.e. creatures, armour, etc.), this will involve re-rigging them from scratch. Levels will need to be rebuilt from scratch using the DA editors. Prop models such as houses etc. can be imported (after appropriate conversion), but there is no way to import any terrain meshes (i.e. ground geometry) that I am aware of. Non-physical assets like scripts, conversations, etc. will all need to be made from scratch.

Just knowing that some stuff can be imported would be terrific. Models and Props would be nice and would save some time.
