Hey, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in playing NWN1 campaign from the start (or perhaps either of the expansions) as multiplayer  co-op and roleplaying it at the same time. Regarding characters, since its RP item lvl restrictions would be lifted (to get the gear you want and have it look the way you want) but I wouldn't want people with too overpowered gear....

Anyways, if anyone is interested in roleplaying the campaign or either of the expansions, let me know

Hiya. There were two or three of us wanting to do this before, (with the Original Campaign in the first instance) with a regular session once a week or so but different timezones meant we struggled to get it off the ground. I'm Euro evenings only though sadly. Generally I'm into fairly mundane roleplay. For example, not flashy items, exotic subraces, incredible characters or outlandish backstories. If none of this has put you off then reply here or drop me a PM and I can then check if some of my old chums are still interested.

Hey. Sorry my reply took this long time, but I had to go off town to attend to a funeral of a relative. I'm from europe as well (scandinavia) so european evenings works very well for me. Heey...thats funny you should mention this. I just started the OC yesterday with a guy from Sweden (I am also from Sweden). We're probably going to play more this evening.

I've never played the OC despite playing this game for like 9 years now (and building)...doh...so I wanted to try it out a bit and maybe play through it all...

Hook up with me on Xfire, MSN or Skype (my preferance in that order).

I am easy to find on Xfire (see my signature). For others send me a PM.

So...roll a new toon....save it locally and wait for getting in contact with us again...if you wanna play that is.

Memmorath; thanks for the reply and you have my condolences. I'll contact some chums and see if there is still an interest and get back to you in a day or two. We are all pretty much into roleplaying. I've never played the OC or expansions myself but I don't think I'd take much enjoyment from going through the campaign without being In Character.

Like give a scale or something. Roleplaying is not something I see like you are doing it or not...also some think that just being IC all the time is their definition of roleplaying...so people will just not say a word to look like they are IC. The scale goes something like (1-10):


1 = total ubra L337 mindless p0wahkillaZ MMOstyleZ Diablo powergaming rushers

4 = Trying to stay IC but also using OOC for ease of playing. Not walking/crawling around all  the maps, well maybe walking when in town centre or so but otherwise running.

7 = Staying IC "all the time". Always walking when not fleeing from combat. Staying long times at campfires talking about the adventures.

10 = Not even getting of the starting map cause of uber political roleplaying with NPC's lead to PC's become presidents of Neverwinter and then build a portal and port in scientists from year 2503 who in turn build a large solar powered laser-cannon mounted on a satelite that orbits the realm. With the use GPS coordinates the cannon is used to obliterate each and every bad guy/monster :-)


So....I guess I am around 4 on the scale....you?

(sorry for a bit rantish post but trust me...roleplay can be too much at time also....)

Superfly 2000 - Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I wasn't intending to go into detail, but your scale is helpful.  I guess I'm more of a 6 or 7 minimum. Highly likely to be walking and talking through maps, conversing IC during dungeons (depending on how the characters get on) but not going to burst into a flame of fury if there is a small amount of OOC. However, I fear I'd probably be a bit slow for your tastes.

Memmorath - I've got a two chums on board (who are probably also a 6 or 7 minimum on Superfly's scale) and we are thrashing out a possible play time. At the moment, it looks like a weekly session on anything from Monday to Thursday Euro evenings for a couple of hours a week (nothing too late in evening for me sadly as I've to be up with the lark). Could be looking to get this going next week if things go smoothly. Timings are tenuous at the moment, but let me know if you are interested and I'll throw you my contact details (email, MSN Messenger).

Superfly's scale might help you decide what would be best for you.

Hey sounds good, send me a pm too maybe I can try it out with you. Its been too long since I tried the OC and the details on gear and what not. I believe in moderate Rp..some extremes I have been in took all night to decide on gear needed for the journey...lol

Very usefull chart for these events, this should be stickied somewhere with additional ranges. 2 for me
